Schönes bernsteinfarbenes bier mit sehr feinporigem schaum! Leichter geruch nach sahnekaramell intensiver geschmack! Sehr gut zu spareribs zu essen! Werckmeister (3538) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - MAR 24, 2015
At a fair in Klagenfurt poured from 750ml bottle. Dark orange cloudy color, small off-white head. Smells yeasty, light fruity, light sourish / barnyard, light pear cider. Full body, strong malt backbone, some sweetness, boozy, hops kick in after a while, after that some fruit notes, light citric, overall I havea kind of sugary taste on the tongue, finishes sugary but also with some bitterness, a bit weird, boozy, not my thing.

Live ’15 - SO. Hesitant between lenty Märzen and Starkbierfesty Bock, this luminous copper orange creation offers: rich yet drying, layered cushions of caramel malts, going into honeyed roast nuts overdrive. Either herbal hops or Grain husks interfering, adding astringency. Bit like a heavy honey bread spread, offerring the same guilty conscience upon emptying. "Ah the Catholic Austrians, I must teach you. You must taste them in the original."
Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig süß, fruchtig malzig, Karamell. Geschmack sehr malzig süß, fruchtig, Karamell. Saeglopur (2536) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - MAR 17, 2014
Draught at Stiegl Braustübl. Nice dark amber glowing, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, slighly beige head. Light aroma of caramel, honey, some roast, some grains. Tastes of caramel, honey, candy, red and dark fruits, grains. Mouthfeel is full, creamy, with a lively carbonation and it finishes bitter/sweet, with candy, fruits grains and some herbs. Nice one! Very quaffable, well hidden alcohol and although pretty sweet, still with a good balance. Only the smell is too light for my liking, but the malt dominated taste and the mouthfeel are really satisfying.
