Bottle from my father who travelled through Austria. Fresh smell with hints of citrus, yeast and herbs. Similar taste. refreshing beer. . brugmanneke (283) - GERMANY - SEP 28, 2012
(tap) Copper-coloured, cloudy, with a creamy head. Looks quite appealing, actually. Aroma is grainy/cereal-like, with distinct notes of bees wax or honey. The taste however in only lightly bitter with a sour touch that does not appeal to me. OK. Jeanburrasca81 (1) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JUL 20, 2012 does not count
One of the best unfiltered zwickl beers in austria, perhaps the best choice in general availability, since it is brewed by a larger brewery and can be found in most supermarkets. HenrikSoegaard (14576) - Randers, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2012
Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 30, 2012
draft at the publican, chicago. hazed golden wheat body with a foamy white head of long lasting retention. very enjoyable must and mineral nose with lighter touches of pilsner malt and yeast / dough - the esters are magnificently pungent and lively, and sadly the body is watery from low acid / hop rate, and flavor is fairly simple and plain bread / dough, chewy and light bodied.

Draft at Imbibe Wine. Nose is grassy hops, caramel, and light spiciness. Hazy yellow with a big heavy lacing white head. Flavor is lightly bitter with caramel and a hint of cloves. Interesting example of the style. wxman (1847) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - JUN 15, 2012

Bottle at Stieglkeller, Festungsgasse, Salzburg, Austria Sunday 3rd June 2012 Dirty orange/amber in colour with a white you cannot see through this it is very murky. Tangy with a wheatiness showing, fruity, clean with a nice tingly carbonation. Little bit thin but otherwise a refreshing decent beer.
