COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Enjoyment of first-rate beer with a pleasant hoppy character. Straw-colored and warm amber glow, pleasantly sparkling with a dry body. Using the aromatic hops from the Mhlviertel region, it entices you with a bouquet of fresh hops and a distinctive bitter finish. 11.4

Bottled Sample at The fat Belgian in Toronto. Not a bda pilsener. Not enough flavour for my liking. Would try it again.

This one was alright. On tap at maproom. This was a decent pils, nothing spectacular. Then again, its always on tap at maproom.

Rated 1/20/07: 16.9 oz Bottle poured into my pils glass producing a medium straw color with a thick white head and sticky, sticky lacing. Lively carbonation this ones good to look at. Light malty aroma, slightly sharp some bittering hops thrown in. Crisp and refreshing, this bites the palate ever so slightly. Flavor is very well balanced, theres a light peppery taste to round out the crisp malt, nicely hopped. Nice pilsener.

Bottle from the Root Cellar. Poured a straw color with a moderate frothy white head that lasted and had good lacing. Heavy hoppy grainy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium hoppy flavor with a medium bitter dry finish. This beer met my expectations.

Appearance is your standard medium gold. Big malt nose, especially for a lager, plus cereal grain and grass. Smooth palate, with a creamy maltiness and a nice bitter-hop finish. Not a mind-blowing brew, but put together well with quality ingredients.

On tap at Map Room in Chicago. Im not a big fan of pilseners, but this one wasnt too bad. Had a hint of the Saaz hops, but not as big as other Czech pils. Might make a nice conversion beer for your Bud/Miller/Coors buddies.

From a can. Citrusy hoppy aroma. Light amber appearance with a small head that disappears quickly. Quite hoppy with biscuity and citrus flavour. Bitter finish. A good pilsener.

Enjoyed during the 3rd annual St. Pats day celebration. Very pale yellow with a light white head. Very clear and clean looking. Negligible light grain aroma but nothing was off. Grain is the predominate flavor with noble hops riding right on top. Spicy hops for the most partNot usually my favorite hops but they work well here. Light dry body. A fair brew.

This is the definitive Pilsener. The aroma is malty and grassy. The appearance is pale gold with a two finger head. The flavor is bitter up front with a malty finish. The palate is refreshingly thin and the aftertaste is bitter. This beer is true to the style but not up my alley.

Lite malt / mild citrus aroma. Lite gloudy gold colour with thin head. Skunky malts and hops with an unpleasant lingering aftertaste.
