COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Enjoyment of first-rate beer with a pleasant hoppy character. Straw-colored and warm amber glow, pleasantly sparkling with a dry body. Using the aromatic hops from the Mühlviertel region, it entices you with a bouquet of fresh hops and a distinctive bitter finish. 11.4°

Poured into a pilsner glass. Golden color with the bubbles going up to the two fingered head. Beautiful, just beautiful. Great aroma of barley and wheat, a muted lemon scent too. Mild bitter taste, honey and metallic. Crisp and clean texture. Moderate to high carbonation. Light body. Perfect pils body. Drinking this brings back great memories from traveling to and through Salzburg and Austria. Great looking and smelling, the taste was less than I remember at the source.

From May 2007 Purchased at Wilbur's Liquors in Ft Collins. Pours fron 0.5L bottle a clear straw gold with a fairly large head of foam that shrinks quickly leaving jst a bit of spotting on the surface and very little lacing. The smell has a good Pilsner nose to it. Some light malty character with good hoppy notes. Smells very Austrian. ;^) The taste on first sip is fairly malty, I note a bit of biscuit that is quite flavourful, but the hops move in and give the brew, at first, a nice balance and then, the light bitterness that they impart take control and I'm liking the end result. Further sips in, and as the beer warms, the hop bitterness intensifies a bit but in a lipsmackingly good way. This Pilsner is *way* easy to drink and being at the abv that it is, I'd see no problem having this session beer all day long, especially with the warmer temperatures head my way. The body is just right for the style and it's pretty lightly carbonated. Bottom line: This is a very nice Pilsner. If it was available locally, It would be on my regular rotation. I recoomend it.

Clear golden, rich head, good lacing. Aroma of lime, lemon, herbs, flowers. Light bodied, medium carbonation, citrus, flowery taste, mild bitterness. Great pilsener!

Clear golden straw color. Aroma is grainy with a touch of sulfur. Taste is clean and bitter, but with a weird flavor in the palate.

From old tasting notes. Deep yellow gold color with a huge bubbly white head. Salty, sweetish malt aroma. Delicious hoppy flavor with a hint of metallic undertones. Bittersweet malty finish. Long tasty hoppy aftertaste.

Created a monstrous sizing of foaming while an off tinted yellow slightly hazed liquid rests below. Nose is mild and smells of European malts and yeast and could be the best smelling pilsners I have come across because of how developed the character aroma. The flavor is heavy with malts, grains, and wheat tastings and finishes semi-sweet with a sticky foam flavor aftertaste.

330 mL bottle that is probably in the coolest shape I’ve seen in a while. It’s like a grenade waiting to happening. We enjoyed about 6 or 7 of these each among many Kalashnikov shots. It was a fascinating time at Bar Ernst Fuchs. The pour on this is a thinner clear golden straw with a thick white head that wisps down with some soapy lace left behind. The aroma is very pilsner like. There is a good maltiness to it, a cleanliness, a strong wheat, and then a hint of metallic sweetness on the finish. It’s pretty good, but it’s not my thing. The flavor is just as sweet. Definite pilsner with a light wheatiness and a strong sweet malt. It’s not terrible, but there are many better things. The mouth feel is light and watery with a soft carbonation and a lingeringly sweet malt finish. It’s just something that I can do without.

Tap en ook wel eens flesje, beide op vakantie in Oostenrijk. Veel te alledaags, vrij zwak pils. Industrieel.
