Enjoyment of first-rate beer with a pleasant hoppy character. Straw-colored and warm amber glow, pleasantly sparkling with a dry body. Using the aromatic hops from the Mühlviertel region, it entices you with a bouquet of fresh hops and a distinctive bitter finish. 11.4°

This stuff looked a little thin. Maybe my bottle was going flat but the carbonation was weak, though the beer headed well. The malt profile and hops character were on point for the style. I was a bit disappointed, expecting something great and getting something good.

Created a monstrous sizing of foaming while an off tinted yellow slightly hazed liquid rests below. Nose is mild and smells of European malts and yeast and could be the best smelling pilsners I have come across because of how developed the character aroma. The flavor is heavy with malts, grains, and wheat tastings and finishes semi-sweet with a sticky foam flavor aftertaste.

330 mL bottle that is probably in the coolest shape I’ve seen in a while. It’s like a grenade waiting to happening. We enjoyed about 6 or 7 of these each among many Kalashnikov shots. It was a fascinating time at Bar Ernst Fuchs. The pour on this is a thinner clear golden straw with a thick white head that wisps down with some soapy lace left behind. The aroma is very pilsner like. There is a good maltiness to it, a cleanliness, a strong wheat, and then a hint of metallic sweetness on the finish. It’s pretty good, but it’s not my thing. The flavor is just as sweet. Definite pilsner with a light wheatiness and a strong sweet malt. It’s not terrible, but there are many better things. The mouth feel is light and watery with a soft carbonation and a lingeringly sweet malt finish. It’s just something that I can do without.

Tap en ook wel eens flesje, beide op vakantie in Oostenrijk. Veel te alledaags, vrij zwak pils. Industrieel.

On tap at Jane Doe’s Östersund. Pretty standard euro lager, was expecting better.

Aroma: floral notes. Taste: biscuity malts. Nice grassy flavour with faint floral notes and straw. Good and balanced pilsner.

I drank this beer at several oportunities in different trip in this lovely country. It is a classical pils, well balanced and perfect during the summet after a long walk. The color is yellow and gold, average carbonation, thin and white foam, fairly bitter, hop, herbal side, malty, next one please to stay healthy!!!!!!

500 ml bottle. Pours straw-yellow with a white head. The aroma is intense, grassy withe some malt. Medium body with a lively carbonation, medium bitterness and very light sweetness. The flavor is mainly pale malt with some light fruit notes (unripe grapes) and grass.

From backlog. Pale yellow with thick frothy head. Light malt aroma (biscuit). Buttery malt with hop finish. Light bodies. Everything one would want in a pils.
