Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - FEB 19, 2015
Pours an electric yellow color, a very vibrant yellow. Aroma of pineapple and grapefruit soda. Notes of bubbles, and carbonation, tastes more like a fruit soda versus a beer. A great fruit beer that would quench any thirst on a hot day!

NikkTwist (3341) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 17, 2015
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2015 Draft at Bierstube. Very cloudy straw pour. No head in particular. Lots of grapefruit here (not surprisingly) but the flavor here is of grapefruit juice (not pith) along with some other slightly browned citrus fruit. Aged lemons. Blood oranges. Yellow plums. Golden raisins. Slightly salty. Somewhat sweet. Fizzy fruity palate. Not quite a beer though.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2016 Refreshing and bubbly. So very grapefruit I had trouble even tasting the beer in it. Serving: Can

Draft at world of beer. Pours avery hazy, dark yellow. Smell is dominated by citrus fruit juice. Tasteis pretty much the same without the super sickening sweetness or artificial candy flavors. Not much beer character besides some carbonation, slight graininess. Overall, pretty quaffable and more of a beer than some of these othe candy water drinks that cause diabetes.

sturmthis (1195) - Bavaria, GERMANY - FEB 6, 2015
500ml can. Hazy golden color with very thin head. Sweet grapefruit aroma. Sweet, but not overpowering. Very good for hot days.

DerWeg (1705) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 17, 2015
Can. Pretty much as advertised - a slightly confected citrus taste (the juice preparation likely heat sterilized) with notable grapefruit bitterness, some beery undertones. Pithy peel bitterness. Aroma is simpler, canned juice and lager malt. Ends with cascades of lemon orange and grapefruit, candyish palate with dry/bitter notes. Pastel cloudy color. A good way to not drink beer I guess although highly processed all-fruit additions can’t be super healthy.

hershiser2 (3665) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JAN 16, 2015
$2.50 Can from from Wine Warehouse, CHO. Pours cloudy golden-blonde with an inch of quickly disappearing head. Smells of grapefruit candy. Tastes like grapefruit pop. No hint of alcohol.

blipp (9691) - La Mesa, California, USA - JAN 4, 2015
Can. Pours hazy yellow gold with a white head. Fresh ruby red grapefruit juice without any accompanying astringency, moderate sweetness, and a clean finish. Really quite enjoyable.
