Pours a very cloudy hazy pale yellow color. This is definitely not a beer, but rather a malt beverage. Strong aroma of grapefruit and tastes like it was just fresh squeezed and carbonated. Crazy that something this low in abv could be so damn good. The low abv hurt this score in the long run. A great summer beverage though!

Can - Grapefruit pop with a bit of alcohol kick. Nice and refreshing. Great for a hot day, but not really beer.

Can from 16 Tons Taphouse. Pours a cloudy orange-yellow, essentially no head. Aroma over-sugared grapefruit juice, body somewhat dull, finish abrupt. Meh. I liked Stiegl lemon, this was a disappointment.

Flute glass. Love the smell of this, just like fresh squeezed grapefruit. Delicious and refreshing but no alcohol taste.

can. Poured cloudy yellow with no head. Strong tart grapefruit aroma. Light body, refreshing with lots of carbonation with a sticky bitter finish. Flavour is very sweet with grapefruit and bitter pith at the end. Tastes like wink pop.

This fruit beer poured a cloudy light yellow colour with a minimal head. Scents include grapefruit, grapefruit and more grapefruit. First swig was medium carbonated with flavours of grapefruit. Quite sweet, reminds me of the old pop "Wink". Finish is fruity with a very sweet palate.

Tipsy white grapefruit soda. Enough said. Added vodka and it is BEYOND FABULOUS!

Much better in cans, if you can find them. Great session beer. Perfect for hot summer days next to the water.

I couldnt be more excited to try this. Pours a cloudy grapefruit juice color (the regular, not the ruby red stuff) with a fizzy, foamy eggshell head that disappears quickly and leaves no lace. Nose involves substantial grapefruit aroma, and not artificial but really quite surprisingly true. Other than that, a light dash of lemon pinesol is the only other thing Im getting on the nose. Pretty sweet flavor, a fair tartness, and a dash of bitterness, quite refreshing to no surprise. Light bodied, actively carbed, crisp and cleansing, with a tingly tart finish. On its own, its quite refreshing and would of course be a great hot weather beverage. Personally, I enjoy the hell out of grapefruit, so as this style of beverage goes, I would reach for this ahead of the lemon and orange shandies of the world. The cocktail recipes seem endless with this, from making a modified Paloma with tequila and lime to using it in place of tonic or club soda in a gin and tonic or gin rickey. A dash of it to top various martinis to provide some fizz and a little citrus. I can see why all the cool kids in Chicago have been making this as hard to get as Zombie Dust. Well, kind of...
