Bottle 500ml @ Wallehen Apartment, Saalbach, Austria
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of citrus, lemonade, sugar and a hint of malt. Taste is medium sweet with a citrus finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft to fizzy

May 23rd, 2013 - The Stiegl Radler has since become a bit of a legend in my family. Even casual teetotalers make exceptions for this sweet treat, which we first discovered at a German restaurant in Anaheim (about 10 minutes away from Disneyland.) Itís technically a beer, but comes across more like a shandy, with a spritzed, buttery and lemony nose, with added touch of pears to soften the sweet side. The flavor is unmistakably similar to a shandy, with delicate notes of lemon, lime and pear - springy and effete fruits. Give this one a go when itís hot, or if youíre catching an awesome Teutonic meal after a day plodding around Disneyland.

Bottle from local Spar. Clear golden colour, no head. Ok shandy but quite artificial sweetener notes in the lemon.

Simples Radler ohne grosse Hoehen. Ein wenig Zitrone, ein paar Suesstoffe, etwas Chemie, kaum Bier zu bemerken. Mild, simpel, trinkbar.

Bottle from local Spar in Austria. The beer pours out in a clear yellow-golden colour with airy head and medium body. Aroma of lemonade and mild beer. Taste of mild lemonade, leaves, mild lemons and mild beer. Easy drinkable if you are thirsty, yet nothing special.

Not too keen on flavored beers, but this was a pleasant surprise. Nice fizzy taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drunk from 33cl bottle in Mondsee, Austria. Sweet but refreshing lemon shandy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a pale yellow color topped with average white head. There is a not too strong citrusy aroma, which is OK. The taste is sweet and citrusy. Maybe a bit too much sugar, but an OK radler.

500 ml can. BB 20/12/2014. (Merkur) Seiersberg, Austria. Clear pale golden colour with a small white head. Lemon, soap and malt in the aroma. The flavour is lemon, soap, mild sweetness and malt. Quite pure for a Radler but still not quite enjoyable. Their Grapefruit Radler was better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
