Bottle in Minneapolis picked up in KC. Pours a clear golden appearance with an off white head. Big zesty lemon citrusy, sweet lemonade aroma. Tangy, very sugary, cheap lemon, chuggable flavor. #partyen #responsibly

glennmastrange (2854) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAY 29, 2013
Bottle. Light to moderate grain for the malt, light grass for the hops, and lemon scented cleaner. Head is small, fizzy, white with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is sparkling clear gold. Flavor starts artificially sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet. Palate is light, watery with a fizzy carbonation. I can accept the grapefruit version of this, but this one? Negative! But, di Munchen Liebfrau thought it was excellent.

Tortman18 (174) - Batavia, Illinois, USA - MAY 28, 2013
Pours a hazy golden with 2 fingers of head that dissipates very quickly. A ton of carbonation and very little lacing. Aroma is very sweet and tart. A strong malt presence. Mouth is refreshingly sweet and lemony. A lot of carbonation and sparking wine like taste. A very refreshing, summer drink.

Apart from the slight wry aftertaste this radler is very drinkable. Like a Fanta Lemon, perfect when warm, never too sweet. At the Stieglkeller.

September 2011. Bottle. Citrus aromas and some malt. Light body, high carbonation and the tartness of the lemon shows well. Good ice cold on a hot day, but not my kind of drink.

coyforce (684) - California, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Nice refreshing beer. 50/50 lager/lemon soda. The appearance is a nice golden yellow with a small head. Taste is lemony and a light beer. Great for drinking after mowing the lawn.

Bottle at 16 Tons Taphouse. Beer soda! This is delicious, the perfect summer drink, light, fruity, and enough beer character to keep it interesting.

KeefOz (1820) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - APR 6, 2013
UPDATED: APR 10, 2013 500ml can. Poured a clear golden amber colour with no head so did not lace. Moderate carbonation with small bubbles forming trails. Aroma of sweet lemonade (artifical lemon). Tasted like sweet lemonade. Light body and a bit watery. Finish slightly lemony. More like a low alcohol lemonade than a beer. Much better than I expected. Easy drinking.

Looks very similar to champagne when poured. Aroma is a little awkward - smells a little sour and maybe a little stale. Flavor is pretty good but is too watered down. The lemon soda overpowers the beer, which is unfortunate. A good choice if you’re going to get behind the wheel, but that’s about all this one is good for.

On tap@ Bent Elbow - Pours a murky pale yellow. Lots of carbonation, short-lived small cap. Aroma is an unappealing cross between lemon pop and light beer. Flavor is uneventful and follows aroma profile. Clean, dry, tart....a thirst quencher for those who like thi kind of concoction, I’m just not one of them.
