...bottle into weizen. Well, I didn’t really care for this one, had a weird cork flavor, and not much else. Some malt, was a light cloudy brown, pretty dry. There was some light wheat malt in there, and it finished dry with a weird aftertaste. Not sure what the deal was.

Gedronken op terras in Unterburg am Klopeinersee. Oranjegeel bier. Verrassend goede Weisse met mooie schuimkraag en goede fris fruitige smaak. Niet zoet met een goede smaakbalans.

(Keg at Stieglbräu zum Klosterhof, Linz, 20170531) The beer poured orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had clove, fruitiness and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, clove, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, spicy and bitter. A decent hefeweizen.

Definitivno više klinčića u okusu nego banane. Solidna pšenična, nije u rangu najboljih ali da se popiti.

Bottled. Deep, hazy orange coloured with thin head. Pretty mediocre hefeweizen that is even slighty sour. Short finish, lively carbonation and light body. Meh.

The aroma of overripe fruit. The flavor is of ripe fruit and shampoo. OK bitterness which fills the upper part of the mouth a weak moment. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Hazy bronze with healthy weisse head. Classic yeast aroma for the style. Tangy then good full bodied malts, silky, good carbonation. Ripe banana especially comes through in the finish. Hard to tell this one from Schneider Weisse. Very good surprise. Stiegl has some really basic average suds, but a few of them are fine examples of the style, this one included.

Kiegyensúlyozott illatában és ízében is. Fanyar savanykás sok édeskés banán illattal. Tartós hab. Visszafogott szénsav ezért jól iható. Karakteres keserűséggel.

GreenCat (105) - SLOVENIA - JAN 1, 2017
0,5 bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with white head. Aroma of banana, clove, bread, herbs, slightly sour. Body is light to medium with average carbonation and rather thin texture. Nicely rounded mouth feel. Finish is lightly spicy, sweet and slightly sour. Beer is refreshing and drinkable.
