Danke an WillemsUrenkel für die Pulle. Recht herber, zopfiger Geruch. Start hopfenherb. Mitte herb mit säuerlichem Einschlag. Leicht süßlicher Abgang, bittert moderat. In Ordnung.

0,75 l swing top bottle in company standard design. Now listed on the label with 5.0% alcohol. Pale yellow in the glass, small foamy head. Low citrus und grassy on the nose. Starts malty spicy, a lot of hop herb and bitterness for a Helles. Low citrus, high carbonated. Could be an northern geman Pilsener.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, modest spicy. Some wheaty notes. Finish a bit drier, but still well balanced. Not bad!

Nice golden beer on tap at the brewpub. Refreshing, quite a fresh nose, almost green, grassy notes. Taste is similar. Dry aftertaste.

Test vom 7.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,8,7,9,7 - 7,45

Bottle @ LCRBM 08: Poured a yellow with white head. The aroma is skunky and citrus, with a little barnyard. Taste is fresh clean harvest with a hoppy finish.

JorisPPattyn (10025) - Ursel, BELGIUM - SEP 11, 2008
Medium white, dense head, fast gone over greenish tinted bright golden beer. Very grassy, warm ripe grains and clean Pilsner malt nose. Remarkable hop presence - much more hoppy than a classical Helles, more North-German Pilsner-like. DA wonders about which hops were used. The quantity nearly brings it out of balance (for a Helles). We get again both the mineral quality - the water?. The bitterness keeps lingering on for quite a long time. Dry, quite attenuated, good MF, not really empty but a bit lean. Again a very clean beer, but the mineral-bitterish spike is better in an ale (top-fermenting beer) than in a bottom-fermenting one, supporting the mineral better. This one could maybe do even better with some more dextrines in the endproduct, some unfermentables to lend it slightly more body.

omhper (25246) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 7, 2007
Bottled. Clear golden, small head. Grassy nose. Very dry. Densely malty with notes of bread and butter. Solid body. Resiny hops provided a lingering bitter finish. A well balanced refreshing beer.
