Bottled. Pale yellow, small head. Spicy nose. Dryish and fairly crisp. Rather light bodied with spicy hops giving it a resiny touch. Long spicy bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Clear, sparkling, pale golden color, short-life medium sized white hoppy taste head, citric aroma, light body, decent fizziness, malty and lemony sweet taste, intensive hoppy citric palate without bitterness. Refreshing and easy-drinkable beer.

0,5l bottle. Watery, but also quaffable. Better than expected..............

Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 18, 2008
bottle, labelled Stiftsbräu Schankbier. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Hoppy nose. Light and refreshing, pleasantly malty with some nice hoppy flavours. Strongly reminds me of a Czech 10° vycepni pivo.

2.8
herrklemann (445) - Graz, AUSTRIA - MAY 28, 2017
Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is malty, cereals, hay, a hint of honey. Medium sweet, a hint of tartness and a nice, light to medium bitter finish. Light body with lively carbonation.
Pretty basic pale lager, with a hint of character. Quite quaffable. Nice and easy. Some days that’s all you want from a beer.

2.7
beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 7, 2005
Drank this next to the river in Vienna. Tasted like liquid bagel. Unimpressed. But it does call itself a Schankbier. Schanked it, baby.

2.7
yespr (47545) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2011
50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light malty and cornish. Bitter, grassy and slight cornish. Dry and bitter finish.
