Pint can poured to a shaker at the Shoreline Restaurant bar in Gills Rock, WI. showing a darkest brown color, with a decent layer of tan froth, and wavy lacing. The nose was roasted, coffee grounds, malt that expressed a bit of freezer burn scent, nuts, and woodiness, a touch of dark fruit, with some cocoa on the back. Medium bodied, with low carbonation, the taste was similar, with roasted, earthy, and coffee-like astringency, and dryness to the finish. Fairly smooth as I gradually got into it. Thumbs up.

Draft at Hagemeister Park, unfortunately served in a plastic cup. Pours a deep, dark brown, nearly opaque, with a small tan head that settles into a ring and film. Notes of toasted malts, dark and milk chocolate, mellow roast, burnt sugar, faint tobacco, and coffee. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation and a smooth, lightly roasty mouthfeel. Really solid, straightfoward porter.

Can: Rubied-black with a huge tan head. Chocolate milk, roast coffee aroma. Taste is sweet....Lactic dark chocolate malt, sweet coffee malt. A mild smoky/woody bitterness. Really nice body. Good stuff.

From a can - Pours a deep brown, almost black, tan to white head. Heavy coffee aromas, clean sweet-ish finish (likely due to the use of lactose). One of my favorites, highly recommended if your into coffee beers.

Draft. Pours dark brown-black with tan head that dissipates quickly and substantial lacing. Coffee and chocolate aroma. Coffee and chocolate upfront followed by coffee bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Really well ballanced roasted coffee light porter dark malts. Finish is clean, could have been a little more dirty.

Perky Porter is one of my favorites. Great coffee flavor, nice thick body. It’s basically like having an iced coffee with the perk of already being spiked. Love having one of these at Lambeau!

Let’s start with "yum" and note the subtle nuances of this delightful coffee drink here next. Aroma of great coffee, color of rich Porter, those powers combine for Perky making an enjoyable experience for all drinkers.
