Bottle poured a deep golden color with a one finger white head that slowly fell back to a coating. Aroma has dusty grains, wet herbs, yeast, and some hops. Mouth feel is medium light and there is higher side carbonation. Flavor has grains, funky sharp hops, yeast, and some lingering bitterness.

A steady pour into my Teku glass produces a four finger thick, and rising, pale tan colored head that would have overflowed my glass if I didnt choose to eat it instead. The beer is a metallic seeming gold color that shows a brilliantly clear, bright yellow gold hue when held up to the light. The aroma smells of bright fruit and dried hay; specific notes of pear, floral apple, hibiscus, nutty pale malt, pale wheat cracker, and some melon like notes.

Effervescent, which pairs well with the light body, dry, which still cant suppress the bright fruit notes, and quite complex, with a mlange of flavors, this beer is my idea of a Saison. The grain character has a nice, dried straw like character to it, a soft cracker like malt note, and this mixes with a light herbal character, perhaps a touch of lemon zest, or citrus character, and grassy hop notes. The yeast character contributes a soft clove character, a slight mustiness, some woody black pepper, a touch of ginger character.

This is quite nice, not the most complex Saison, but it definitely hits the spot.

On tap 4 oz. sample at Pizza Paradiso in Alexandria, VA. Hazy, pale golden-yellow with creamy white head and very good lacing. Aroma of lemon, sweet light fruit, wheat, earthy spice, yeast and orange zest. Taste of orange zest, lemon, wheat, yeast, earthy spice, light fruit and sweet bready malt. Medium body and medium carbonation with a foamy mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange, with a nice fluffy white head. Grain, sweetness, doughy, white pepper, light vegetable, and hay like hops. Meh ok, too sweet in my opinion.

Bottle.
Hazy yellow with a giant, frothy, staying, white head. Aroma has sweet wheat malts, some citrus, doughy. High carbonation, fine dry and somewhat oily (yet a bit thin) mouthfeel. Flavour has doughy malts, wheat bread, citrus, mild lactic notes. Soft white pepper and grassy bitterness. Okay.

Corked bottle from Beer Planet, Brussels
Hazy golden color with compact head. The aroma is definitively corky, with traces of vegetables. Its smooth, dry, overcarbonated, with light malt flavor, spicy Belgian yeast, and too much feeling of vegetables; some cork too; correct bitterness.
Unaesthetic.

Bottle @ Matts house picked up at Wine and Cheese. Pours a hazy yellow appearance with a nice bubbly white head. Pretty spicy herbal, lemon, hay, a touch funky aroma. Slightly tart, tangerine, chewy grainy, tangy, lemon meringue flavor. Pretty tasty.

Pour out of 375 mL bottle, big thanks to Aaron! Hazy orange-yellow with nice fluffy white head, aroma brought notes of nice peach, pineapple, some nice notes of grain, cracker, biscuity notes, slight mix of coriander, spice notes with a touch of yeast, hints of earthy grassy notes. Taste is a mix of sweet orange, lemon, biscuit, bread, hints of nice caramel, touch of vanilla, lemon, hints of spice in there as well. Pretty tasty and unique.

Lots of pressure behind the cork on this one. It almost popped itself off after removing the metal fastener. Pours with a gigantic white head that dissipates slowly.. It smells of hay and bread. Upon tasting it starts sweet with a slight grassy taste ending in light hop bitterness that lingers. Very earthy with lively carbonation. This is a great beer with complex, balanced flavors.

Pours a straw color with billowing head. Aroma and taste are lots of raw dough and stale bread with an odd sweetness and a noble hop presence that is too weak. Idk about this one.
