hazy gold, puffy white with ample lacing drops to thin film. Lightly floral nose, incredibly dusty with soft pepper, honey. Flavor is brighter, more lemon front with earthy, lightly peppery wheat mid. Finish is dry and dusty, accented by crisp carbonation and rolling dry malt, incredibly long finish. Delectable, more saison and balanced session than spice beer,

lamas (1636) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 21, 2013
Draft at Snallygaster 2013. Poured a hazy gold with a thin off-white head. The dusty/musty/funky aroma featured some fresh peppercorns, light citrus, and some wheaty graininess. Went down thin to medium-bodied and fairly crisp. The taste was just as musty/funky as the aroma implied with some touches of lemon and citrus rinds, wheaty grains, and plenty of spicy peppery flavors from start to finish.

Draft. Cloudy golden color, bright white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of slightly funky and dusty peppery hay. Taste is subtley spiced straw. Nice.
