COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Farmhouse ale brewed with mango juice and passion fruit juice. "The boys at Against The Grain made a beer based on a fictional ’sexy man’ and uhh, his sheep friend. So sticking with the theme and the fact that we have been spending some time in Brazil lately, we decided to amp up the sexy and host a tropical orgy of fruit flavors, hops, malt, and yeast..umm, yeah." - Brian (Stillwater Artisanal)

March 12, 2015 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs and mabel - bomber. Brassy and slightly hazy gold with a solid foamy lasting off-white head. Aroma - pungent fruit juice - passionfruit and a lot of very ripe mango; can’t mistake that sharp tartness - also a bit spicy. Taste follows - mostly the juice, but emerging floral/catty pungent bitterness and alcohol; musky. Average body, very acidic, mild carbonation - finishes hot and tart with catty pungency in the linger. I frankly loved it.

Had this at Where The Wild Beers Are VII (2016). Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Musk, fuzzy and funky. Sweet grapes. Grainy, with a long yeast finish, musk.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized ivory colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a strongly carbonated body semi-transparent yellow orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The complex aroma was hoppy. The sharp mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again. Appearance = 3 Aroma = 5 Flavor = 7 Palate = 4 Overall = 14

On tap at Shamrocks. Pours a clear light golden color with a small head. Aroma of grapes, tropical fruit and hint of malt sweetness. Taste of grape and tropical fruit with a bit of yeast in the background. Slight bitterness and a lingering fruity finish. Light body, bit tart with a fruity quality. Not what I expected but still an interesting take on the style.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball, served in a flight. Pours a clear, light, bright gold with a small white head that settles into a ring and film while leaving ropes of lace in the glass. Big grape-like character here, with passion fruit, mango, apple, honey, herbs, and a little bit of a pale malt backbone. But not much. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a fruity, tangy mouthfeel. Had no idea what to expect here. It’s unusual but not bad.
