A massive thanks to Ed for sharing this bad boy, and a massiver thanks to Casey at Max’s for giving it to Ed in the first place! Cloudy golden yellow color, small white head. Aroma of dried apricots, peaches, lemon peel, vanilla. Taste is fruity, dusty, complex, dry finish. Lots of character in this one. A real winner! ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - NOV 8, 2012

Stubby 11.2 oz bottle purchased at Max’s during the Stillwater BBW 2012 event. Served in a Stillwater wine glass.
Stubby 11.2 oz bottle purchased at Max’s on Stillwater Sunday event of BBW. Served in a Stillwater wine glass.
Pours a dark golden amber, hazed and still with a fleeting off white head. Nose of sage, lavender, oak, grass, lemon, and light brett. Flavor leans toward a malty, amber saison with a grassy and floral body and an oak finish. Fresh, there is a light brett presence, per the suggestion of the brewer (and name of the series) aging this beer seems promising. Medium thick, soft effervescent carbonation; well balanced and integrated. In current state, this isn’t substantially different from fresh Cellar Door, other than the finish, but CD is one of my favorite Stillwater beers so that isn’t a problem. 355mL thanks to yourefragile. Small gusher. Pours a full haze, opaque pineapple. Weaker head. Rich sage, white pepper, dank hop nose with pineapple fruity Brett C. Really excellent. Taste is spicy, minerally, peach and pineapple. Fresh. Palate is very fluffy, aerated, small oil. Refreshing. A very nice iteration of a tried and true Stillwater staple.

Bottle. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is key lime, coconut, farmhouse yeast, pils and straw malt with tropical fruity esters and fresh oak. Flavor is heavy farmhouse yeast and Brettanomyces, fruity esters, medium hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and heavy carbonation. EricE (1367) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 8, 2012
Bottle shared by GT. Nice strong herbal aroma. Lots of sage, citrus, lemon peel and peach. Very dry an lightly tart. Slightly woody with citrus peel pepper and sage. Nice easy drinking. Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Richmond 19th, think maniac brought this one. Pale hazy gold. Herbal aroma – rosemary, sage, thyme. Flavor is less herbal, but present, somewhat wheaty. Just not that interesting to my tastes, but not bad. Scored higher than I really thought of it I think. sonnycheeba (6126) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 2, 2012
Bottle. Pours mostly clear gold with thin, fizzy white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is a nice dose of floral and piney hops, citrus fruit, biscuit, caramel, and cookie malts, light sour notes, and oak. Flavor is complex with good hop character balanced with sour fruit esters and sweet malts and solid oak undertones; sadly the great flavor is gone too quickly leaving behind a dry finish with a hint of soda water. Medium body and carbonation. olr1984 (1500) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 27, 2013
