12oz bottle -
Golden yellow body, clear with a sturdy white cap. Aroma seems pretty traditional of a Belgian ale, soft malt profile, prominant yeast esters, fruity with a touch of light spice. A grassy flavor, a spot of citrusy hops, yeast and lightly spiced. Refreshing and easy to drink. hopwine (670) - brooklynzzzzz, New York, USA - OCT 27, 2014
Peach, nectarine, pear, unripe banana, baked apple, honey, biscuit, spicy yeast. Big, frothy, chalky mouthfeel. jimhilt (2610) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 27, 2014
Pours a one finger white head that fades slowly leaving traces of lace. Hazy straw color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Light citrus nose and flavor is tart citrus with some sweet malt. Higher ABV is hidden. $3.99 for a 12oz bottle from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, Ma. Patrickctenchi (6591) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - OCT 14, 2014
Cloudy, dark yellow with a soapy white ring.
Sweet grapefruit, peach and pineapple aroma.
Flavour is the same mix....sweet and fruity...a bit of yeast.
Very smooth a full of flavour.
Sharp and light for the ABV.
Wonderful. AndySnow (7632) - Huddinge, SWEDEN - OCT 13, 2014

Where: Svenska Hamburgerköket, Stockholm.

Body: Medium body, low carbonation.

Low pffft as the cap comes off and low aroma ensues. It hints at fresh guava and peach, and orange sherbet candy. It tickles the nose; it certainly has an alcohol spice to it. The first pour a radiant straw yellow, minute particles held in suspension amongst its fine, well conditioned carbonation. Head is headstrong; held high, a good 2 inches, is a soppy, rocky snow-white mess that leaves a lovely lace. Quite herbal, dry, pasty and well hopped with what I swear is Spelt hops. Herbal, earthy, weedy and slightly floral. Bitter peak before all hops in the finish flushed by subtle fruit esters. Slightly but lightly camphorous, twiggy, candyish. Light on the palate with very soft carbonation. Malt holds its own; quite supple but enough meld and hold balance. This is a strange brew. Got the sense of tasting a moderate ABV kellerbier, and not not a 9% Belgian. It is fresh tasting (my bottle a good 9 months old). Zombie beer. Struggling to walk now. What? Skeletor from He-man. Yeah, on the label, haha, creepy. Creepy, No, slap-slap, a quash of water to the face for wake-up. Likey for completely forgotten reasons!! 12 oz. bottle purchased at Julio’s Liquors. Consumed 9/21/14 while watching football. Hazy golden color with lasting fluffy head. Think lacing until the conclusion of the brew. Aroma has a nice fruity character with some floral hints. Mild perfumey notes. Foffern (1879) - Bodø, NORWAY - SEP 17, 2014
The flavor has mild Belgian yeast, the fruity hints that I smell. The body is pale malts with sweet grain. As I was drinking this I didn’t realize it was 9%. The body was kind of thin but it helped make it feel like a lower AVB Belgian. Overall, very easy to drink and looking back I would sample it again.
Bottle at home. Bottled 13.12.2013. Has a slightly hazy straw yellow colour with a small, off-white head. Fresh aroma of citrus, grass, hay, herbs, Belgian yeast and some pepper. The flavour follows up and is still fresh, spicy and full of grass. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. A tasteful, fresh and delicious pale, strong Belgian ale. The alcohol is well camouflaged. ronaldtheriot (1936) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - SEP 16, 2014
Stillwater As Follows has a thin, off-white head, an opaque, yellow-gold appearance, and minimal lacing. The aroma and flavor are quite subdued or mellow, but one will detect spices of some sort, sweet malt, and relatively weak bitterness, and a background citrus. Mouthfeel is medium and Stillwater As Follows finishes semi-dry, easy drinking, and only a touch alcohilic. RJT
