UPDATED: FEB 23, 2017 z kranu w Czeskiej Baszcie. Bardzo ladna, wysoka, powoli sie redukujaca, ladnie brudzaca szklo piana. Samo piwo metne, jasne. Aromaty najpierw glownie cytrusowe czy moze raczej cytrynowe, pozniej - po lekkim ogrzaniu sie - pojawila sie nuta kwiatowa i przede wszystkim fajnie wyczuwalne belgijskie nuty stajenne. Pojawiaja sie tez krakersowo-ciastowe nuty. Smak wyjatkowo rzeski, kwaskowaty (cytryna, brzoskwinia), znow po poczekaniu, lekkim ogrzaniu duzo slodsze, wyczuwalna dajaca cialo slodowa baza. caly czas obecne drozdze. Inne, niz pite przeze mnie mocne jasne belgi czy grand cru, glownie przez przesuniecie w kwaskowata, cytrynowa strone, fajnie niestandardowe, smaczne, dobre i robiace wrazenie

This started promisingly with a good aroma and nice alcohol driven notes but gave way to a more ambivalent flavor, grassy, lightly bitter (hopier than I like in this style), some yeast. Ok. Bottle.

Bottled. gold colored. Lots of alcohol in the flavor and aroma. Thin palate, some flavor of raw meat, pepper, and light spices. there are some hops here. Very dry, it reminds me of dry tripel.

Bottle from Haskells with commonmac and rosskyle. Hazy gold orange with frothy white head and lots of sediment. Citrus peel, yeast, and banana, clove in nose. Citrus, then lots of yeast, then tart . Leaves some tart gritty finish. Even though the sediment was a bit much, but I like that taste . I will follow.

12 oz bottle purchased at Haskells. Only one more until 500! Plenty of sediment and a golden orange color. Minimal head but it’s persistent. Aroma brings yeast, banana, citrus (lemon), vanilla, and earthy/grassy tone. Taste has some spice characteristics with the banana and almost wheat abilities popping up. Citrus and hops come back towards the end. A softer mouthfeel. Pretty complex Belgian and one I would definitely sample again. Like a saison hooked up with a tripel.

Bottle poured a hazy golden hue w/ large fizzy white head diminishing to a ring with some lacing. Mild fruity yeast aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a bold bitter finish. Tastes are golden raisins and Belgian yeast. Full bodied and warm finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Trippel or belgie strong? Big clumpy lighter hefe looking pour from this bottle dated one year ago. Somewhat metal tart smell. Hey, pretty good cutting co2! Sizzle is much more pleasant than expected. Yes, covers the alky effect quite well but after it settles in your mouth a little alky’s quite apparent. It os fairly well done for a domestic wannah be. Seems that tart thing is hiding in the background wanting to stick its head out. Slight medicinal belgy ale finish. Yes, almost could pass as a trippel. Wew. Yes, difficult at times but that almost tart yeast thing makes interesting thru-out. OK, not one of the worst 9% beers I’ve tasted.

On tap at Pipes of Scotland. Slightly hazy golden with white head. Aroma fruity, light spice, citrus, lemon peel and perfumy notes. Taste is similar, complex, lemon, spice and medium sweet malt notes.
