Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, chardonnay grapes, citrusy hops, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of chardonnay grapes, malt, and citrusy hops, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light, I guess due to a low final gravity. joergen (28992) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2013

I’m glad someone added this one to the database. This was my favorite beer of the day at the Hill Farmstead saison festival. Small bottle. Hi carbonation. Cloudy orange color, huge off white head, solid lacing. Aroma of grandma’s attic where she’s storing rye bread and dirt. Taste has an aggressive and funky sourness with toast, orange peel and vanilla. Brian has done it again. mcberko (18589) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 21, 2011
12 oz. bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a cloudy vibrant orange with a medium white head. Aroma is dominated by the chardonnay barrels, barnyard funk, yeast, and some oak qualities - overall, with a light tartness on the nose. Flavour is dry, zesty and yeasty, beginning with the chardonnay and yeast, finishing quite zesty (orange and lemon rind), with a slight tartness and lots of yeast. Very enjoyable, but I preferred the original Stateside. jtclockwork (17101) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 3, 2011

Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a tall white head. Lots of nice fruit notes such as lemon, apple, and pear. A nice funky and earthy aroma to it, too. Maybe some peach flavor to go along with the lemon, apple, and pear. A mild read, some wine and oak, and a light tartness. Ratman197 (15228) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 22, 2011
