COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Starting with a base of German wheat & pale malts this crisp slightly hazy foundation was then accented with a blend of Sterling & Citra hops providing a intricate blend of herbal grass & tangerine citrus flavors and aroma. to pull this all together and to complete the ’cleansing’ aspect of my vision i gently finished the ale off with a touch of white sage, lending a mild earthy spice character to the blend. of course let’s not forget our house saison yeast that brought all the elements together leaving a dry yet intricate finish.

Can from the Beerhive. Pours hazy pale gold with a thin short-lived white head. Aromas of citrus and sage, light floral notes. Taste is light lemon, sage, resin. Thin finish, again. Herbs well judged though.

Can from Good Spirits Co. Wine & Beer, Glasgow. Beer served in 12°C, Tulip Glass. Pours hazy golden with medium head. Aroma is complex and fresh, herbal, spicy, earthy, sage, ginger well balanced with a citrous, orange notes. Taste is refreshing, slightly resin and herbal biitterness, citron, wheat sweetness. White sage make a georgous effect and add unique character. One of my favourite witbiers so far.

Can from Merchants. Aroma is tart, so close to a Saison but reserving enough of that classic wit aroma that keeps it in the style. Sage, wheat, pine, spice, excellent. Appearance is golden, hazy, off white head. Taste is floral, slightly tart, wheat, pine, spice, great. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, dry floral spicy hop aftertaste. Overall, it’s different in a good way. Really quite an excellent Wit.

Hiper refrescante postgusto a hierbas. Deliciosa.

It has a strong aroma of orange peel plus lemon and coriander. The hops dominate over the top of more traditional farmhouse flavours and there’s a very warm alcohol aftertaste that lingers in the back of the throat.

This is a beer that would benefit heavily from scaling the hops back by at least half. Tropical hop notes dominate the flavor to the point where anything else struggles to get through at all. There are more complex flavors underneath those hops, but they’re faint to the point where they’re hard to identify. This has potential, but it’s overhopped to the point that it’s ruined.

Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of citrus, coriander, clove and wheat. Taste is medium sweet, lightly bitter and lightly sour.
