COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Starting with a base of German wheat & pale malts this crisp slightly hazy foundation was then accented with a blend of Sterling & Citra hops providing a intricate blend of herbal grass & tangerine citrus flavors and aroma. to pull this all together and to complete the ’cleansing’ aspect of my vision i gently finished the ale off with a touch of white sage, lending a mild earthy spice character to the blend. of course let’s not forget our house saison yeast that brought all the elements together leaving a dry yet intricate finish.

Tasted from the bottle, on 20/10/2012. Pours of hazy yellow color. Aroma is yeasty, with wheat tones, slightly spicy. Taste is very intense, grass, saison yeast, spices and some flowery notes as well. Aftertaste has a kind of classic lager hop character. Very refreshing, delicious! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a bright yellow with a huge and bubbly white head. Aroma has banana, belgian yeast, spices, peach, and grass. It has a Belgian impression. The taste is very dry and slightly sour. Still has a Belgian appeal here. The aftertaste is banana with plenty of spicy notes. The mouthful is very much like champagne, being bubbly, dry, and crisp. Carbonation is very fizzy. God stuff.

I should have had this stillwater first, ended up being less good than the previous two. Just the sae, nice banana and white yeast smell. Pours cloudy blond. Rpetty nice soft carbonation, some lacing. Some light floral hops in this as well. Taste is lighlty sweet, palate pretty good. Tap at Blue Monk.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle thanks to weihenheizen. Thanks for picking this up for me! Pours a hazy gold to copper color with a large white froth of foam resting atop the beer. The aroma is very citrusy and effervescent. Ginger and bubblegum come through as well. Smells almost tart. The taste is smoother, with its spritzy citrus and sage melding together flawlessly. Some woody notes are coming through, though I don’t know how they might have found their way into this beer. I do detect the alcohol in this beer a touch more than I’d like, but for the most part, the spritzy mouthfeel cover it up well. I can see why this beer is so highly rated. It’s fucking tasty.

A cloudy golden brown body, slightly murky looking. It had a nice white head that had good retention and lace. Aroma had a nice wheat presence with notes of citrus and coriander. Citrus was a mix of lemon and some orange peel. Flavor was well balanced good relationship between wheat notes and citrus notes, slightly spicy in the finish. There was also an additional tartness to it probably from the yeast. Good balance through out. I don’t normally dig this style but this was good.

Bottle. Pours a pretty clear gold with tons of meringue type head. Aroma is a mix of earthiness and citrus. Taste is very crisp and dry. Some citrusy hop flavors coming through. A general soapiness is kind of pervasive throughout.

Tap at Rattle & Hum. Hazy yellow, small head, average lace. Nose is dusty hops, citrus, flavourful. Mouth is lemony, quenching, hoppy bitterness, enjoyable, clean, touch of wheat at the end. Nice, bitter and dry at the end, with a citrus feel. ---via BeerBuddy

The aroma is malty, citrusy, yeasty, honey like, and fruity. The appearance is cloudy gold. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall this is interesting but not a favorite.
