Hazy golden. White head.
Very spicy; a bit too much coriander and wormwood. jeremytoni (3082) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - OCT 8, 2012
From the tap poured a brown color with a good amount of head. Spicy malty flavor with a quick finish. Boutip (6533) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 2, 2012
Bottle: Poured a hazy golden orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of lightly hoppy notes with light spices and a medium sweet malt backbone is quite interesting. Taste is a complex mix between some lightly sweet rustic malt notes with some fruity ester with dry hoppy notes with light notes of spices. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Easily drinkable while providing quite a lot of complexity. Gr0ve (2176) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 29, 2012
Draught. Clear golden colour. Eucalyptus and spearmint meets classic saison. Nice. kevinator (2715) - The Colony, Texas, USA - SEP 16, 2012
One of the most unique witbiers I’ve had. Lemony and yeast aroma I associate with this beer. Light golden color with a small head. High on carbonation with a crisp palate. The first taste was unremarkable but developed into something unexpected. It had an almost grapefruit sense that reminded me of some IPA’s. Very easy to drink with continuous wheat undertones. Nice beer.

Bottle. No best before date; bought c. 1½ years ago. Pours a hazy yellow with a big, frothy off-white head. Good lacing. Tart, wheat aroma. Notes of pineapple and coconut, and an overtone of coriander at first; warming brings out the latter which hijacks the aroma; okay, but a bit cloying. Flavour is tart, bitter and hoppy with notes of wheat and coriander. Fruity notes as it warms. Bitter and alcoholic finish with lingering wheat and green apple notes. Too much carbonation. Overall okay, but with some minor flaws; a bit too tart and cloying, and the alcohol in the finish too unbalanced. 16.09.12. RoyalFlushing (326) - Mamaroneck, New York, USA - SEP 10, 2012
Bottle poured a pale cloudy golden yellow, with a huge fluffy off-white head and excellent lacing. Aroma of pear, citrus zest, floral notes and spicy yeast flows from the glass. Taste is wonderfully balanced with notes of lemon zest, honey, wheat, slight funky yeast, and a hint of herbs. Crisp finish, enjoyable carbonated mouthfeel and flavors that play with the palate long after each sip. toxichop (598) - South Gate, California, USA - SEP 3, 2012
A: Very tart wheat, lemon zest, white peppers, and smelly feet (a very sharp smell) P: Hazy orange with big white foamy head that settles down. T: Very diffrent from the smell, this taste very refreshing. Melon, wheat, and just slight tartness to it. Some peppers in there and a weak citrus hop profile. M: full body with high carbonation, finishes dry. O: a great beer that I enjoyed drinking but not smelling maybe being in the car to long caused the unpleasant odor notes. Interesting, evocative beer but too heavy on herbs and fusel alcohol to be very drinkable. Draft at Brasserie Beck. Smells like herbs and sweet oranges, leafy, reminding me of La Chouffe and other spiced Wallonians. Bitter herbal taste with some citrus zest and boozy heat. Thankfully not as sweet as it smelled, it does finish dry. teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - AUG 28, 2012
75cl bottle at CPK, London. Pours a pale yellow, cloudy. Fizzy head due to conditioning. Nose is earthy and spicy. Mild lemon and apricot, spicy yeast and wheat. On taste, full flavored with more of the lemongrass and herbal notes. Not overtly bitter. Finishes easy and clean. Not a Belgian White but still interesting to me.
