crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - MAR 25, 2015
A blonde body with a very thick white head. High level of carbonation present. Aroma was of corn, bread and yeast. Some fruity esters were apparent. Flavor was slightly bitter at first. Malts seemed to have a mix of corn and whole wheat bread. Light on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dorado turbio, espuma blanca ligera. Intenso aromas de cilantro, menta y fruta verde. Cuerpo ligero, carbonatación alta, inició de fruta verde y cilantro, muy fresco, ligera acidez de carbónico y final seco moderado.

Yellow and white pour from can. Fruit, grains, wheat, weed, pine, spice. Seems like a pretty good concept but it didn’t come together in a way I have come to expect from Stillwater. Forgettable.

Opaque golden colour with a soapy head. Aroma is full of fresh apples. Taste is a bit more bitter and almost like a cider.

Poured from a 12OZ can into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a spicy aroma with a hint of citrus, pretty good Appearance- This brew looks like a slightly darker version of Coors Light, thankfully this is deceiving Taste- Has a grass and citrus flavor with maybe some pepper thrown in. not bad, every sip I took I enjoyed it more. Palate- This is a light bodied beer with moderate carbonation and a nice thin feel. Overall- This is a really good saison. It doesn’t have an overwhelming flavor that some saison’s do but I really enjoyed the flavor and character. I would drink this again.

Can (canned August 2013). Pours a hazy pale yellow with a huge head that settles down fairly quickly. Aromas of bread dough, peppery saison yeast, lemon. Taste is similar: lemon, light peppery yeast. Bright. Well balanced. Light bodied and soft with a dry finish. Very nice.
