Extremely dry and light beer, very lemony with lots of peel flavour, also a good dose of hop bitterness for overall intense taste in a 4.5%, this is no session though, lots of character.

skmikeg (1822) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 21, 2016
Pours yellow-orange with a half finger white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of ripe fruits, tropical fruits, bread malts, grass, herbal notes, sweet malts, and some floral hops. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium-light body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, slightly bitter, medium finish. Overall, a pretty interesting, and decently tasty specialty malt saison.

Draft 0.15l at Beer Temple Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 17.07.2016. Last farewell tasting for cika Jan. Taste with Zlotta and Potjebier. Pour it hazy yellow color with small white head. Aroma sourish, quite thin. Taste easy drinkable, grainy, corn, watery little bit, pinch of sour twist, light body, thin feel, average carbonation, abrupt. Ok for sljema.

Zlotta (2511) - Hagen, GERMANY - JUL 18, 2016
Sampled from tap at Beertemple. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Fruity-grassy, slightly floral aroma of lemon, gooseberry, grass and pineapple. Slightly bitter, grassy-fruity taste of lemon, gooseberry, pineapple, grass and some corn, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grassy and a bit dry finish. Better than expected!

Single can apparently canned 12/23/15 so exactly 5 months old, into a stange. A: Attack of the 50 foot head! Busy carbonation feeding the head. Clear light gold color with good lacing but honestly if this shit wont lace, nothing will. S: Fresh crisp leafy apple scent. A little grain also. T: No fruit which is what I expected but dry musty flavor. A bit of under-ripe pear tartness at the back but no sweetness. Apple/pear is a bit more prominent as it warms. M: Very crisp and light with dry tart finish. O: I found this overly heady and not terribly tasty. Nice scent and feel not enough to save it.
