Can. It’s an unclear, orange-colored beer with a creamy, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is faintly spiced and quite citrusy, not much maltyness going on. Some resiny, grassy notes too. It’s full-bodied and soft on the palate, quite dry too. Flavorwise it’s just like drinking a saison, with the yeastyness, spicyness and citrusy flavors. Pine cones and bitterness, lasting for a good while. Can’t say I really catch this one, but it’s sure a fine and refreshing one. 140621 Meilby (11495) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 21, 2014

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh, hay, yeast, flowers, weeds, hops, citrus peel, paper, grain. Taste is slightly dry, hay, weeds, yeast, flowers, grain, paper. Medium bitterness, dry watery mouthfeel. Fair enough.
Can from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a hazy dark-hued straw yellow body with a large creamy white head. Nose is Belgian ale yeast, white sugar, bubble gum, maize and hints of straw. Taste is straw, bitter herbs, Belgian estery sugar-ish tones and hints of pale malts, maize and hints of floral honey notes. Medium to light body, medium to high carbonation. Don’t really know what to expect from this beer, but it was rather fresh and drinkable, regardless.

From 345 ml can. Pours a clear pale yellow with a fluffy white head that lasts pretty well and leaves good lacing. Fine carbonation. Aromas of lemon, grapefruit, apple juice, lychee, melon and a touch of mango. Taste is banana and apple that gives way to crisp pepper spice and lemon zest bitterness. Falls off at the end to a clean finish with a lightly fruity aftertaste. Super refreshing.
