UPDATED: JUN 10, 2016 Draft at Jimmy 43 with Andrew and Brendan. Pours a nice, hazy body with thick white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is wheat, lemon, spice and light grass. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of spice and wheat dominating - a touch too spicy for my personal preference, but overall balanced and nice. Makes for a wonderful power hour session beer.

16oz pour at Maxs. Pours a hazy, straw yellow with some frothy white head. Nice happy, grassy aroma, hay. Flavors of hay, grass, mushy rice, lemon. Dry, refreshing, super drinkable.

12-oz can. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a loose sudsy whitish head. Nose comes on like a saison for sure, with mild candied lemon notes hidden in sweet grass. Creamy medium body with very lively carb. Corn, grass, and sweet cream mid palate. Unlike those other beers, and the better for it.

Portland, Or - Beaumont Market - 12 oz can. Murky, light golden pour, soft snow white head. Aroma is kind of muddled, some yeast, a touch of bubble gum. Flavor has no real sense of direction, kind of sour, a bit of gumball sweetness, some yeasty notes. Decent spritz to the mouthfeel.

Can. Poured a nice golden blonde color with a small off-white head. Aroma was notes of grassy malts, touch of corn flakes, light sweetness. Flavor had notes of light corn, sweet malts, light herbal and earthy hops. Okay.

Can. Pours hazy yellow, medium white head and nice lacing. Aroma is lemon, pepper, yeast, grain, corn. Flavor is light sweet, herbal and peppery, touch of zest. Medium body, high carbonation. Drinks like a saison actually.

Can (canned on Sep 18). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cereal), moderately hoppy (flowers, lemon oil, grapefruit, resin), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with a light note of pepper. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Fun little beer...some crude resinous hop odor, sure, but the hop bouquet offers more than just that (although I suspect if this were fresher it would be more resinous). Nicely balanced, crisp and clean bitterness. Even a little yeast character too. Can barely tell it has corn/rice, so its not like most of these beers that try to recreate pre-prohibition lagers. Nice chuggin brew.

blankboy (7482) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 24, 2014
[Can (355ml)] Pours a very bubbly hazy yellow with a large lasting fluffy off-white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, bubblegum, sugar, herbs, some banana and light grassy hops. Yeasty and wheaty flavour, light and slightly watery, along with light herbs & spices, some light citrus and an average, short bitter finish. Average bodied. Light and easy to drink but overly simple, just good.

Backlog rating. Keg at Kings Arms tap takeover, London. It pours an unclear straw color with small white head. Aroma is grainy and floral, with light straw, hay, citrus, grass. Taste is also crispy, dry, with straw, spelt, light funky and lemon tang, grass, flowers. Light to medium bodied with sparkling carbonation. Overall, quite nice

Cunningham (7387) - Halden, NORWAY - MAY 25, 2014
Appearance: Pale golden color with a white head.
Aroma: Mild fruity, mild citric and some yeast.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet, and a moderate bitterness. Flat (due to a punctured can fixed with electrician tape) carbonation.
Taste: Citric, yeast, fruity and a mild malty back.
Overall impression: Nice fresh thirst quencher. Think this would have been very nice with proper carbonation.
Personal stats: Can from a trade with Gunnar
