PorterPounder (7971) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 3, 2016
Portland, Or - Beaumont Market - 12 oz can. Murky, light golden pour, soft snow white head. Aroma is kind of muddled, some yeast, a touch of bubble gum. Flavor has no real sense of direction, kind of sour, a bit of gumball sweetness, some yeasty notes. Decent spritz to the mouthfeel.

Can. Pours with a crystal clear yellow hue with a medium to medium large white head that lasts. Aromas are of spicy, earthy and slightly rotten orange like hops (cluster?), herbal, light citrus, mild malt, low esters. Flavors are lightly fruity, grainy, grassy, a bit of floral sweetness and a hint of tropical fruit, doughy. Lightly chalky mouthfeel. Pretty easy to drink. Very lively carbonation, light body.

blankboy (7699) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 24, 2014
[Can (355ml)] Pours a very bubbly hazy yellow with a large lasting fluffy off-white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, bubblegum, sugar, herbs, some banana and light grassy hops. Yeasty and wheaty flavour, light and slightly watery, along with light herbs & spices, some light citrus and an average, short bitter finish. Average bodied. Light and easy to drink but overly simple, just good.

Ernest (7697) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 30, 2013
Can (canned on Sep 18). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cereal), moderately hoppy (flowers, lemon oil, grapefruit, resin), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with a light note of pepper. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Fun little beer...some crude resinous hop odor, sure, but the hop bouquet offers more than just that (although I suspect if this were fresher it would be more resinous). Nicely balanced, crisp and clean bitterness. Even a little yeast character too. Can barely tell it has corn/rice, so it’s not like most of these beers that try to recreate pre-prohibition lagers. Nice chuggin’ brew.
