On draft at Pizzeria Paradiso in Old Town Alexandria yesterday for the Stillwater event. The beer is light straw colored and hazy with an inch of pure white head. Aroma of saison, funk, light spice, lemons, assorted citrus, floral notes. Easy drinking and full of nice flavors. A touch of floral hops gracefully compliments a light hop biterness amid a healthy dose of herbal, earthy, and mild funk notes. Pretty light in body. I look forward to drinking this again. Good stuff.

Pouring at BBF in Boston. Ended up hanging with Brian after the first session, pouring with him during the second. Crushed many a can. Many, many a can. Pours a hazed glowing gold with a medium sized white head. Soft grain, a bit of musk, yeast. Soft lemon, light musk, bright and crisp. Gentle bitterness on the finish. Wonderfully easy drinking.

Can. Pours hazy straw with a large pillowy head that leaves a lot of scuzzy lacing. Aroma is softly grainy, yeasty, slightly funky, herbal. Flavor is all that -- very complex and yet quite drinkable. Quite dry, mildly bitter. I love the 4.5% ABV. Soft carbonation.

Slight cloudy yellow pour big frothy head. Smells light yet funky and lemony. Tastes the same with some doughy brininess and serious hop dose. Some tang and bretta. Lighter in the body than other stillwater offerings. This is the best "watery" beer out of a can I’ve ever had. Kudos.

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2014 Can from Mane Liquor. Gets perfect appearance caus the can looks epic. Nose is full of sweet Belgian yeast, banana, mango and mild grass. It’s like a hop loaded Belgian ale. Loads if mango and banana with heavy zest and Belgian yeast. A touch biscuity with mild herbal notes and lemony bitterness. Goes down an absolute treat. So clean and refreshing. I can see it possibly getting a touch sweet but works well as something other than an IPA in a can. Tasty beverage.... the more and more I have this, the more I like it. My go-to can

Pours hazy golden pilsner straw in color with a nice creamy white head. Aroma is my favorite part bringing a unique nuance to sweet, light grassy smooth farmhouse yeast that I thoroughly enjoy. Flavor brings a nice blend of sweet pilsner malts, bitter green hops, and farmhouse yeast.

Nose is sweet grain, banana, pepper, herbaceous. Flavor is same plus some mild bitterness on the finish.

A self-proclaimed "post-prohibition" ale, Classique is ridiculous in all the right ways. The corn, rice, and pils malt give this beer a cereal grain aroma and malty sweetness. It would play out like a lame joke if it weren’t for the earthy and lightly dank yeast and floral hops. There’s a hint of peppery spice, and the carbonation is lively. The combination of American-style swill and Belgian-style yeast should be a novelty at best. Somehow, Stillwater has managed to make this a delightfully weird and tasty low-ABV brew. This a brewery that loves to experiment, and so far I’m loving the results.

Can pours somewhat hazy golden with a large billowing white head and active bubbles. Aroma is grainy and floral, touch of hay. Flavor is excellent, dry and crisp, floral hops lending a medium bitterness, crisp, clean finish. Perfect medium light feel, lively carbonation, very drinkable. Very good.

Twelve ounce can for $1.35. Translucent gold pour with a large white head. Aroma is very pleasant and consists sweet flowers, some clove, and some bubblegum. Flavor is slightly bitter, slightly tart, and slightly peppery spicy. This is a nice one at a great price.
