A self-proclaimed "post-prohibition" ale, Classique is ridiculous in all the right ways. The corn, rice, and pils malt give this beer a cereal grain aroma and malty sweetness. It would play out like a lame joke if it weren’t for the earthy and lightly dank yeast and floral hops. There’s a hint of peppery spice, and the carbonation is lively. The combination of American-style swill and Belgian-style yeast should be a novelty at best. Somehow, Stillwater has managed to make this a delightfully weird and tasty low-ABV brew. This a brewery that loves to experiment, and so far I’m loving the results. nickd717 (4691) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 28, 2017
Can pours somewhat hazy golden with a large billowing white head and active bubbles. Aroma is grainy and floral, touch of hay. Flavor is excellent, dry and crisp, floral hops lending a medium bitterness, crisp, clean finish. Perfect medium light feel, lively carbonation, very drinkable. Very good. Twelve ounce can for $1.35. Translucent gold pour with a large white head. Aroma is very pleasant and consists sweet flowers, some clove, and some bubblegum. Flavor is slightly bitter, slightly tart, and slightly peppery spicy. This is a nice one at a great price. vyvvy (6470) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Pours light pale yellow with a sturdy white head. The aroma has fruity Belgian traits, mild sweetness, grapes, apricot, bubblegum and light funk. Light crisp refreshing body with a bit of lively carbonation. The flavor starts with mild maltiness, apriocots/peaches, spice, earth, bugs and some cellar must. The finish has lots of pepperiness, brett-like bugginess and a thrist quenching snappiness. It would be real easy to drink a lot of these & at 4.5% I can’t do it without running into trouble quickly. Another winner from Stillwater. Love that this is now in 6 pack cans instead of the everything being in bombers. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 10, 2013
12oz can, from Party Source. Almost entirely hazy bright yellow color. GOod bigger white head fades to a nice thin amount. Leaves good lace. Great big grassy and citrusy hop nose. Light spice. Light bready malt profile. A very bright beer overall. Medium body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Nice lightly dry finish. Moderate bitter taste, good zestiness. This is a delicious, refreshing, smooth beer. Satisfyingly hoppy, but there’s much more to it than that. Impressively complex, especially considering the light ABV.

A bright and light yellow with lots of bubbles. Aroma is potpourri and I get herbal notes and vanilla in the taste. Taste lingers pleasantly. Flowery as well. mrhoppy (1288) - Santa Clara, California, USA - SEP 30, 2013
Big foamy head that vanishes. Yellow and fizzy. Nice Saison aroma. Pronounced hoppy bitterness. very thin body. Kind of crazy getting good beer like this from a can. Pretty dang good. I got one for you Mike! FunkyBrewster (1518) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 1, 2013
Can. Pours very light pale hazy yellow with a billowy white head. Aroma is a touch gummy with wheat, some light citrus and hints of spice coming through. A touch peppery and lemony. Flavor starts with a bursting citrus character, quite hoppier than expected but it a good way, giving way to the lighter spice and doughy notes in a clean crisp finish. Light to medium body and a crisp carbonation. Excellent "americanized" version of the style without being all hops. maus10 (43) - Arkansas, USA - OCT 8, 2013
Poured from a can with a huge thick foamy head. The aroma is fantastic. The flavor is slightly sour/tart and very light with a mildly bitter finish. It’s a pretty good session beer. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 14, 2013
Pale straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is lovely - soft and spicy with a lean malt dryness. A bit of peppery character and a bit of light fruitiness. Zesty and a bit flinty. Nice and dry with some lingering bitterness.
