Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dark chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, belgium yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
75 cL bottle at ACBF2011. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty, slight caramelish and light breadish. Sweet, roasted malty and slight breadish flavoured. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma is floral, some liquorice, mild alcohol and some toffee. Flavour is fruity, liquorice, toffee and mild lactic notes as well as some mild toast.

ACBF. Opaque black beer, little tan head. Lactose dark malt nose. Light palate and for once not too dry! Lactose sweetish licorice with dark malt. Trace of chocolate. Dry finish. Not bad.
Sehr dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit einer geringen bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Kaffee, reife Früchte, Vanille. Geschmack mild schokoladig, dunkle reife Früchte, Vanille, gering süß.
