Draft pour to a tulip at Hop and Hound, Bothell. This beer just sounds amazing. Hazy golden orange pour with a thin fizz head. Tart impressions on the aroma, with orange, oak (or cedar I suppose), and yeast. Cool, generous wood constant. Slightly tart. Hop soft bitterness balances nicely with the wild yeast and wood finish. Juicy in between. Refreshingly tart. Very pleasant beer here. I always forget to mention these guys when I talk about my favorite breweries. I dont know why. Another solid addition to their lineup.

Hop and Hound, Bothell. Thin cream, light hazed yellow gold. Nice lightly tart, wild yeast on IPA base. Spicy, bright carbonation. Wood warmth undertones, lovely sauna and cedar. Snappy bright yeast nose. Perfect hop and yeast balance, dry wild rather than funk or sour. Lovely dry finish with complex wood. This sounded like it was right up my alley and it delivered perfectly. Ive wanted more cedar beers for ages and this works great. Warm, wintery, sauna warmth and unique. Love it.
