Smells like a delicious over ripe orange. Hazy pale orange color lasting white head. Lovely soft tart dry citrus like flavors caress your throat in velvet as the cedar carry’s it home perfectly.

Very hazy golden and orange coloured body with a copper glow and a perfect, three centimetre tall off-white head - looks fabulous! Aroma of super dry oak, brett, cedar, piney hops along with a good malt and alcohol note - very nice smell as well! Medium-bodied; Assertive hops up front with a very dry and oaky finish showing the cedar nicely with a distinctly cedar flavour at the tail end that shows some brett and funk for complexity. Aftertaste is very complex with the dryness very noticeable along with some sweetness from fruits, a bit of earthy malt and a touch of wild yeastie brett funk at the end - great and well-rounded while being very complex. Overall, a nice and very well-balanced IPA with tons of other flavours and complexities - perhaps one of the best IPAs I’ve had this year and perhaps in a few years! Not a traditional IPA, but that’s okay - it’s great! Well worth picking up if you can still find it and perhaps holding onto it for a while if you already have it - the yeast should do wonders and variances in the bottle. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bowery), New York on 27-May-2016 for US$9,99 sampled at home in Washington on 18-November-2016.

Draft. Pours orange with white head. Nose is predominantly fresh grapefruit with some cedar, pine, honeycomb, hay and wild yeast. Taste follows the nose. Tons of fresh grapefruit with some wild yeasts. Solid saison. Medium body.

5/6/16. Draft at Criterion. Pours a light straw yellow w tight light carbonation. Light lemony nose. A bit of woody funk in the taste but super refreshing. Lots of flavors going on. Really like this. Most interesting thing I've tried in a while. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Harvest saison (cask, just citra) - murky gold, frothy white head that laces before dropping. Light dust and earth in the nose, dry grass, faint hop. Very soft, husky balanced profile, dusty, very pleasant, lightly spritzy carbonation. A bit weighty and muted, but very nice, bordering on cristoffel nobel 848417

Harvest saison (cask, citra and summit) - largest white head of three, bit more gold body, murky. Nose is way more dank, manure, heavy dust. The complexity of the single with more fresh hop, spicier, dank. 948417

Harvest Saison (tap, 7.5) - same appearance as cask with less head. More biting hop, citrus, less earth, more estery with some eggy Brett, bit rougher profile, less muted though, not as much marriage and a bit more spice from the wood, ending very dry in the finish where cedar is most overwhelming. 747414

Mostly clear pour with hints of haze, sporting an amber color and a small white head. Huge spicy dough, coriander, spicy hoppiness, orange-citrus, angelfood cake dough, and cheesecloth give way to lavendar, bubblegum, resinous alpha acids, and dank herbals. Full body with fluffy effervescence and a resinously dry finish.

Cask with Citra and Summit (10/9/11): Pours a hazy deep amber with a full-lacing froth of pillowy white head. Has a big fresh resiny hop nose with a soft biscuity pale malty sweetness. Starts with good fullness and light sweetness with a biscuity complexity and lots of fresh resiny grapefruity hops. Extremely smooth, flavorful and drinkable.
