Bottled. Hazy mahogany colour, rich head. Aroma of milkk chocolate and marzipan. Fairly sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Milk chocolalte withe some raspberry esters. Mid bitter finish with mild brandy warmth. Flavourful, yet drinkable. Complex, but never overpowering. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2011
On tap. Hazy and slightly muddy brown with a small off-white head. The nose is rich in intense Belgian yeast, dark fruits, brown sugar and friendly phenols. Solid body, dried fruit, brown sugar and a little yeast. A good hoppiness in the finish rounds this off and creates a superb balance. A very complex and interesting beer, to me it comes out as a Quad, a hoppy Quad. Kudos Brian and Urbain. 140311 madmitch76 (24789) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2011
