Hazy dark gold beer, big off white head. Palate is airy and crisp. A little lactose and sweet yeast. Touch of citric hop. Minerally crisp finish where the yeast turns slightly bitter. Hangs together fairly well.
33cl Bottle from De Hopduvel, Gent. Slightly hazy golden orange colour, big white head. Aroma is very floral, lavender, almost soapy, light herbal, dusty, light malty, hint of fruits, alcohol. Flavour is medium-sweet, floral, yeast, light earthy, light soapy, herbal bitterness with a floral and alcoholic finish. Medium-bodied, a little over-carbonated. Nice take on a tripel. alexsdad06 (10436) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 19, 2013
330 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange golden color with a small disappearing white head. The aroma has a hodgepodge of things; herbal, some fruitiness, lemony grass and peppery spicy with some sweet notes. The flavor opens sweeter, some fruit, candi sugar before becoming more herbal, spicy and dry toward the finish. Some toasted bread and touches of caramel. Interesting. (bottle) pours a very murky amber-brown colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of heavy herbal hops, with lots of pepper, tangerines, light caramel and candis sugar. flavour is mostly the same, herbal hops still dominant, with a hint of sweetness and a light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation. Bottle from Beer Planet, Brussels. Pours a slightly hazy light orange body with a massive cloudy white head. Nose is peppery yeast tones, citric peel, grapes and hints of farmhouse tones, hay and wet grass. Taste is citrus and wet grass up front, then banana-like esters with clove and hay dominate mid-palate. Sweet yeasty ending with candi sugars and hints of grains and floral touches. Medium body and a bit too high carbonation, which comes across as slightly stinging rather than a motor for the aroma and flavor. Still, quite refreshing for its high ABV. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 23, 2013

2013) Hazy golden, large head. Grainy malt in the nose with stuffy lactic-acidic and vegetable notes, and not much fruitiness. Fortunately the flavor does carry lots of fruitiness, with some sour brett notes, but also acidity, pungent hoppiness, and even alcohol. Medium to full body, soft CO2. A somewhat unclean and stuffy, even acidic brew, with a not very pleasant hop profile.

Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, mild alcohol, wood and some quite fruity and spicy notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, toffeeish and mildly spicy with also some sugary sweetness.
330ml bottle (HBF2013, Friday)
Mashy husky aroma. Heady. Earthy husky taste. Not boozy, in fact it covers the alcohol well. Very dull, but well crafted. Soft, not too sweet.
