Pale golden and crystal clear with a huge sticky white head. The aroma is loaded with bright zesty hops and a terrific yeasty spice. Quite vineous with a dry sort of fruity/floral hoppiness. The yeast is bone dry and perfectly complements the lean peppery malts. Alcohol is quite apparent so there is a nice zippiness to the beer. A mix of noble and new American style hops that really work well together. Very bright and well-balanced with a lot of herbal zestiness that I really dig. Delicious stuff really. World-class.

Bottle from Whole Foods Bowery. Hazy orange/copper body, long lasting white head. Nose is floral & grassy with a bit of alcoholic spice. Nice clay/earthy malt character, a bit of white grape. Flavor is wonderful lightly carameley malt, that floral & grassy hop character, lemon. Alcohol dries it out a bit with some yeasty tartness thrown in too. My only complaint with the flavor is that the hops seem a bit rough - it has a flavor I’ve experienced in my homebrew when I either over-dry-hop or leave a beer on styrian golding pellet dry hops for too long. Still, absolutely fantastic stuff! n0mel (251) - FINLAND - OCT 18, 2012
Bottle. The head is airy (big bubbles in it), fluffy and white in color. The beer is a hazy golden. Aroma is sugary and malty, perhaps some spices? Not sure, something else is there; nice overall! Taste is a smooth bitterness and malty sweetness. Carbonation is high and a bit stingy in the mouth. Finish is a mellow sweet and bitter.GTAEgeek (2502) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - NOV 22, 2011
The high carbonation was perhaps my biggest problem with this one. But, once I twirled it around a bit, causing the carbonation to diminish, the beer was more drinkable. In the end, I really liked this beer.
11.2 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy butterscotch with a small, creamy, off-white head. The aroma is lemon peels and tangerines, caramel, molasses, green apples, and white wine. The flavor is wonderfully balanced malt sweetness, graininess, and subdued, but noticeable, hop bitterness. There is a little sourness in the middle and finish. The palate is medium to heavy, thick and very grainy. The finish is long and mildly bitter, with a little alcohol warming. Overall, this is an excellent beer. Very complex, with several layers of flavor, which all work very well together. kopher (593) - New York, USA - SEP 22, 2011
bottle. this is really super good. aroma is of burnt sugar, pears, yeasty dough, wet hops, bananas, and a sharp tart alcohol. also something tropical or some crazy fruit i can’t place -- passionfruit maybe? flavor is on the sweet side with some generic hop bitterness in the back. fruity throughout, really juicy stone fruit. pours a blurry burnt orange with a small fine off-white head. smooth with mild carbonation, long fruity and mild hop finish.

Draft. Cloudy orange color. Aromf of star, hay, and barns and horses in the distance. Taste is fruity citrus, grape, tons of malt, moderately bittet finish. Nice. Matts_Property (837) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 20, 2011
Bottle split with mcberko. Pours a murky amber brown with a small white head. Aroma of candied sugar, plums, apples, yeast and spices. Flavour of candied sugar, plums, yeast, various "fall" spices, with a hoppy finish. Smooth yet carbonated and hoppy mouthfeel. Smurf2055 (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 11, 2012

Little cloudy dark orange beer, creamy white head, unstable and adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, somewhat metallic, candi sugar, bit of smoke, peaches. MF: light carbon, full body. Taste: very fruity, malts, spices (cloves, anise), alcohol, citrus, little sweet touch. Aftertaste: pretty spicy, some alcohol, hops.
Bottle, thanks argo0! Pours amber, hazy, with a medium lasting white head. Has a slightly hoppy aroma. Flavor is complex, hops mixed with some earthy yeast tones. Light on the tongue, but strong in the throat. Has a wonderful flavor. Most of the Belgian qualities come out near the end--fruity peach/plum, banana, and spice. The hops hits you up front, but it is not overpowering. Nice beer.
