COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark chestnut colored ale with a nice steady off-white head. Aroma is all about finesse, loads of blossoms and spring flowers. The mouth-feel is refined, playful and complex with Saison-like peppery flavors. Soft nutty after taste with a bite."

Bottle at ACBF 2011. Hazy red brown coloured with a small beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel, dried fruits, butterscotsch and marzipan. Sweet flavour of caramel, dried fruits and marzipan with notes of hops. Sweet and hoppy finish.

Holy (897) - GERMANY - MAR 7, 2011
Sampled at the ACBF 11. Dark pour, yet surprisingly subdued flavors. It’s like drinking a hefe, but subtle tones of coco and caramel arrive endgame. I like this a lot!

From bottle at Struise school. Very dark brown very hazy with lasting beige head. Floral flowery hoppy. Spicy aroma only from flowers though. Very soft in mouth. Lovely sweet toffee too due to the 10% abv. Little bit of candy sugar. Really floral tastiness though. Very good. Interesting. Lovely

Abio (1868) - BERMUDA - MAR 1, 2011
Hoppy, spiced and floral smell, something weird inside. Dark brown cloudy body with a medium head. Holds good. Light sweet taste, sugar, well spiced, the hops gets through slightly, a bit wheats. Drinks very easy, alcohol pretty good hidden.

Barrelbelly (751) - BELGIUM - MAR 1, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2011 Pours out black. Aroma is dominated by rozes. Other sents of citrus and coriander are also present. In the taste the coriander and citrus hints come through as well. The smell is very original but the taste is not very new. The surprising part about this beer is that it blindfolded you would think you were drinking a white beer in stead of a black one.
