Had with some Bols Genever, all courtesy of Jack Rose’s. Hazy yellow straw color, little bit of puffy head. Smell is fresh wheat and citrus, and the taste is similar with some... nutmeg?. Refreshing, nice.

Clear orange pour with a small white head. Cidery tannic grassiness in the nose with hints of lemon and bread dough. Hints of oxidation and rotten malts. Definitely off. Medium body with low carbonation and a doughy finish.

Sampled at Brewvival 2012. Near clear light yellow pour with ring of white head. Did this have citrua hops? Lemony nose. Bright crisp refreshing grassiness with hints of hay. good saison i’d say.

Draft. Cloudy amber body, small white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, white grape, herbal, some honey. Taste is moderately sweet, grassy/herbal, some honey. Medium body, some stickiness.

Draft at Max’s. Hazy yellow pour with an orange tint. Funky earthy aroma. A bit metallic with notes of clove. Dry very earthy flavor. Touch of fruity sweetness. Cereal and grain. Dry finish with a bit of smoke. Very easy to drink and a nice beer.

murky gold, wispy white oily top. Nose is old, plastic and dusty, burnt grains. Flavor is toasty, some ash and burntness, little more plastic, light diacetyl. Considerable wheat dryness, light Dough and bread through the finish improving with warmth.

Draft. Hazy golden color, small white head. Aroma of toasted wheat bread, light citrus. Taste is bittersweet summer fruit. Nice.

Tap at Max’s. Pours clear orange with a medium, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is fruity esters, earthy and barnyard yeast, cereal and biscuit malt with spicy hops. Flavor is malt forward with light hops and bitterness, fruity esters, earthy and barnyard yeast with a dry finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.
