On tap at King William IV, London. Pours dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Big sour nose, some dark berries and dark malts. Medium sweet flavor, moderately tart with faint roast, some brett bite. Medium to full bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Lightly warming finish with more tart berries, restrained roasted malts, definite brett tang, some dark grapes. Great stuff. The brett adds a distinctive freshness. fiulijn (20372) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 14, 2013

Black color with small beige creamy head. Nice aroma, roasted malt, vinous; but also some chemicals, glue, cardboard; very light vanilla. Good body structure; the mouthfeel is lean and quite dry; roasted malt flavor, with a bit too much acidity, wine character, some astringency, tannins, and correct bitterness.
Tap @ Dronning Louise. Black with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, brett and red wine. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish.
Rund, wenig alkoholisch. Trockener Abgang mit weinartigen Aromen. 9/11/11/12/10//10

Keg at Witterfest (Fano meet the brewer), King William IV - 20/08/12.
Very dark brown with a thin tan head.
All brett nose, hard to pick anything else out - fantastic ! A little sweet malt at the rear.
Hops come through in the taste with caramel and malt, brett still well represented but more in the background. Chocolate and a little wood in there.
Medium bodied with an excellent creamy feel. harrisoni (18402) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 25, 2012

Dark black color, small brownish head. Light red wineous aroma, some toasted notes. Medium-bodied. Tart red wineous flavors, barrel earthyness. Toasted notes. Close but no cigar.
Tap @ Dronning Louise, 8.5%. Black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and brett. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, coffee, brett, medium dry, little sour and a little wood. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 28, 2013
Bottle. It pours a really dark brown body, topped by a small, dense, light tan head. The aroma has a touch of red wine tannins and fruit, with roasted malts and some chocolate. Dry, full-bodied and faintly warming on the palate, with flavors of red wine, dark chocolate and coffee, some bitterness. Long finish with tannin bitterness and dark chocolate. Nice indeed, but maybe a bit too sourish. 130928
