Keg @ Witterfest ’12, King William IV. Pours jet black with a small mocha tan head. The nose is a huge wallop of brett. Further aromas of rich bitter chocolate, smoky bacon. The taste is also brett-forward, plenty of wood, chocolate and hints of chili flakes. Mildly vinous and sweet. Medium body, actually quite drinkable. Soft carbonation. Nice, very unique tasting. thepeter (326) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2012
Black small head with a bit of lace. aroma was all brett. Taste was brett heavy and right away, followed by citrus malt, and a bit of coco and maybe some smokey meaty flavours. Palate with light medium a bit fizzy but nice and refreshing for a stout.
