22oz. Poured in a tulip glass cloudy golden-brown with a champagne head. Ever lively on the tongue mutes hop flavors with hints on lemon. Has a sweet sour finish. This beet is very well done.
Hazy to cloudy orange/dark amber color. Head settles to just a modest lid of dark canvas colored bubbles. Interesting aromas of peaches, spice, tropical fruit, and light dough and yeast. Quite dry, at least drier than I expected. Some pale malt, mingling with some apricots, allspice and hint of ginger. A touch sharp in the finish and linger. At times it seems a touch watery. I’m thinking the light carbonation and slightly thinner feel contribute to that. Enough diversity to keep it interesting, yet not quite there. 2/11

Pours a hazy orangish/gold color. Aromas of tart fruit, bread, citrus, and yeasty. Flavor is malty/citrus. Leaves a yeasty orange aftertaste. Like a mellow smooth IPA. Good Beer! rouhlas (3616) - GREECE - JAN 4, 2016
From old notes. From tap. Hazy golden orange color with off white head. Malty, hoppy and yeasty aroma, caramel, citrusy fruity, spicy. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. slowrunner77 (12051) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 30, 2014
"this ipa/saison turned out to be pretty interesting. the flavor was more hoppy than the aroma, and covered up a lot of steside saisons characteristics. that’s bad for the flavor, good for the mouthfeel. aroma a nice but subdued mix of hoppiness and barnyard. Interesting, but probably a one timer."

rec’d in trade and aged (accidentally for a year +) GREAT beer. cloudy golden pour. Aroma was of citrus, spice, some resin?, nice palate. Taste was very complex and it all worked well - some citrus but also peaches and other fruits, multiple layers during sips - yeast, citrus/resin hops and spices toward end of sip. NICE beer and thanks to whomever sent this... gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - MAY 22, 2014
750 ml bottle. Pours clear dark orange with a small fuzzy fizzly dark white simmering head. Aroma of carbo acid in the beginning (quite lively bottle as well). Afterwards a spicy, gingerbread alike scent, brown and cane Sugar? Light body, elderberries in the taste. Spicy end, a bit sour and slight alcohol burn... Meh... it’s a bit bland actually, compared to other similar beers. Inbreak (6068) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - MAY 22, 2014

Small fizzy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, canned tropical fruits syrup, grass, citrus peel, sugar, yeast, flowers. Taste is slightly harsh, flowers, harsh yeast, weeds, oak, bark, citrus peel, dried fruits. Medium bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Meh!
Pours a clear golden with a fluffy head. Aroma has hints of spice, candy, peach and a faint tartness. Taste is light sour with a faint bitterness. Fizzy on the palate and a dry finish. jmgreenuk (9455) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - APR 14, 2014
Bottle at the Klooster, Delft. Poured a hazy medium amber with a huge frothy white head. The aroma is big yeast citrus, burnt sugar, pine needles. The flavour is light sweet acidic, light sour with some bitter notes and a yeast woody dry light bitter palate. Medium bodied with frothy carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel. Lots of flavour and very refreshing.
