Bottle from Ølhandleriet at Mathallen, shared march 23rd 2013. Cloudy yellow with a massive head. Gusher bottle. Aroma is funky with lemon, barnyard, leather and berries. Excellent taste follows with a spicy and funky yeast character, lots of grapefruit, almost like a juice, and a crisp malt presence carrying it all. High drinkability for me and it’s so great to see something different at this strength in norwegian stores. Instant hit. glennmastrange (2930) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Bottle. Moderate aromas all around, with grain and straw for the malt, grass and lime for the hops, barnyard and earth for the yeast, with green apple and pepper in the background. Head is large, fizzy, white with good crusty lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy but muddy on the last pour, pastel yellow. Flavor starts moderately acidic and lightly bitter, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation and finishes very dry. The opaque, sickly bile-like color is a turnoff, but the enticing aroma and the refreshing flavor is enough to say this Corn and Rice Beer is a do it again beer. Draft at Devils with Alan and Eric, Pours hazy golden with light white head, not much lacing. Notes of brett, dark fruit, booze, flowers, and other belgian flavors. Not bad. BoBoChamp (5878) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAY 26, 2013
65cl, new American brew Anno 2011, with Brettanomyces, from Beers of Europe Setchey, complex brew, malty/floral and slightly woody/spicy, yet not balanced, cloudy, rocky head, nice brew, yet expensive! mcberko (19172) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 25, 2013
22 oz. bottle, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a large white head with good retention. Aroma is quite wheaty and somewhat funky, with notes of wheat, cereal malt and a little funk. Flavour is highly drinkable, with heavy prominent wheat notes, and biscuity cereal malts. Extremely dry and wheaty. Hugely drinkable with loads of flavour for a sub-5% beer. Excellent.

650 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy light yellow with big full head. Aromas of basement, old socks, and yeast. Taste is similar, strong and watery at the same time. Snappy and crisp but nothing really except yeast. FlacoAlto (4221) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAY 14, 2013
As expected this was a gusher, but I was ready and didn’t lose any beer. A steady pour into my Teku glass produces a voluminous, three-finger thick, pale, off-white colored head. The beer is a light straw color that shows a hazy, pale straw color when held up to the light. The aroma smells of lightly tart lemons (a mix of hops and funk perhaps), a slight funky, musty, soft Brettanomyces character, ample, dried grass like grain notes, touches of wheat crackers, and a light grassy / herbal hop character. Quite effervescent, the beer really foams up as it hits the palate. The beer is quite dry, has some soft lemon like flavors to it up front (hops), and gets drier and more funky towards the finish; a bit musky, sort of but not really plastic like, quite herbal in a funky way, yet it still manages a crispness and refreshing quality. This beer is actually quite hoppy all in all; herbal, bitter, grassy, lemon-like, with a solid wildflower / weedy herbal character to it. The malt / grain character here is nice, it accentuates the grassy / herbal notes in the hops, while providing notes of dried hay, saltine crackers, white bread crumb, and hints of rice crackers (at first I thought this was just a suggestion from my brain, but that flavor is actually here). The yeast character is nice and characterful without dominating the other flavors here; funky, earthy, phenolic, perhaps a hint of tartness, definitely a bit musky / barnyard, and even some cured plastic or medicinal like notes that can linger in the finish at times. The beer is quite light bodied, quite refreshing actually, and it manages to not come off as thin.
I always have been a sucker for funky, low alcohol type beers; this was certainly doesn’t disappoint and I like the mix of funky fermentation, pale, but nuanced grain / malt character, and bright hop notes.
Pours pale straw with a large head. thorongil2 (3476) - , Ontario, CANADA - MAY 9, 2013
Nose shows funky, goaty Brett, soft lemon, light malt, grassy cow shit. Smells like a bloody farm. Intriguing.
Some of the farm characters transfer through as flavours, along with dry saison notes and grainy malt.
Massively high carbonation.
This one grew on me, despite the cow shit.
(bottle) hazy pale yellow colour with a medium tall white head; aromas of lemon, wet leather, barnyard; predominantly sour and bitter flavour with a long medium bitter finish chriso (7536) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2013
Bottle, thanks to yespr on 30 April 2013. Pale yellow colour with a cloudy appearance. Strong yeast character throughout. Distinct bretty farmyard notes although not overwhelming. Very refreshing. Good quaffer.
