COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Stillwater Sensory Series is a collaboration between Stillwater Artisanal and singular musical artists. In this first collaboration, Stillwater works with Lower Dens to make an ale based on an interpretation of their song, "In the End is the Beginning." On the bottle itself, a QR code will link to an exclusive Lower Dens performance of the song. Ultimately, this is a true artistic collaboration that aims to create a full sensory experience - sound, sight, smell, touch, and taste. www.stillwatersensory.com

375 ml. bottle shared with my Boo; from Liquor Barn (Springhurst). Aroma: Moderate lemon peel with light wildflower presence balanced by a little musty basement. Appearance: Opaque yellow gold pour with a foamy white tuft that settles into a firm skin. Flavor: Musty and floral notes are more prevalent up front, but in a more muted way. Lemon comes in more midway through, and takes on an unexpected honey character; the finish is semi-dry and endures a bit. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: Not a world beater, but a nice enough one to try either way. Not sure what hibiscus does here.

Rating #1176 13.07.2014 - Bottle from CBI. Pours the colour of a bubbly golden ale with a white foam that bubbles away quickly. Aroma is orange zest, and hibiscus flower. Extremely floral and potent. This floral sweetness lingers into the finish and is slightly overpowering. Cool tropical, floral beer. I tried it with the song playing - i don’t feel it added to aromatic or palate experience but it’s a fun concept.

Orange/gold pour with a decent puffy white head. Wheaty, herby, floral and yeasty notes. Taste is wheat-beerish, yeasty, slightly sour, floral (which I assume is hibiscus, don’t think I’ve ever tasted it though). Finishes with that sour yeasty note. I don’t love it but it’s interesting I guess.

Bue en bouteille de 375ml. Blonde claire.

375 ml bottle. Hazy orange pour. Light and bubbly. Not a big taste of brett in nose or body. Slightly yeasty.

375 ml bottle. Ridiculous big frothy head on pale yellow body. Strong alcohol herb aromas, quite sweet finish. Bit over carbonated I reckon.

From a bottle. Pours opaque peach/gold with a bubbly, frothy white head. Tastes nice, light, refreshing like light herb, light floral hops, light citrus. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like light herb, citrus, floral.

Bonito color pajizo algo blanquecino. Espuma normal. Bastante turbia. Aroma escaso algo lacteo. Mucho mejor en boca con una excelente textura, abundante efervescencia que refesca y a la vez resalta un sabor muy agradable. malta acaramelada. Cítrica. Seca al final. Picante. Sabrosa.

6% ABV Nice thick head. Light yellow coloring, invitingly bubbly. Nice wheaty nose. Moderate carbonation. Refreshing all the way finishing with moderate-heavy hops. Nice. Coming in a 6%, it is just about where I get a nice buzz without losing too much flavor experience. Has a nice floral finish and after taste that lingers very pleasantly, ethereally light on on the palate. I’ll have to try this again before deciding if it goes on the Favorites List.
