Cask at Max’s. Hazy orange-yellow pour with a thin white head. Sweet floral aroma with lots of herb and grass notes. Slightly sweet earthy flavor. Intense flower and herb with hints of tropical fruit and light hoppy finish. brainlair (236) - Maryland, USA - MAY 4, 2010
On cask at Max’s in Baltimore. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a few fingers of head. The aroma is an awesome balance of yeast, herbal hops, and tropical fruit. Taste is moderately dry with yeast and a fruity taste that is less tropical and more citrusy than the aroma. Finish of bitter hops, orange and lime peel.
When we complimented Brian on the balance of Chamomile, hops and yeast, he told us that it was achieved by 3 tea bags from whole foods that he put in the cask! I’m glad he didn’t use 2 or 4. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - MAY 4, 2010
Big chamomile nose, bready malts, floral hops mesh well with the chamomile. Dry, moderately bitter, lots of citrus hops, chewy chamomile, cracker/bready malts, hint of fairy dust. Medium body is soft with light and very gentle carbonation. Awesome stuff.
