On tap at Pizza Paradiso - Georgetown. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a bright golden color with a nice white head and hints of orange coloring. Pretty good lacing as it makes its way down. The nose is a bit light, but brings through some hay, orange, lemon, grain, and some light stone fruits. Hints of earth. The taste is similar, with some well integrated flavors. At the same time, there’s nothing too deep and most of the flavors are fairly subdued, failing to produce many of the hard-hitting flavors I really look for in a saison. Feel is a bit dry and well carbonated. Overall, this drinks quite well and I’m excited to see what else this new brewery produces.

22oz. bottle served in a Blvd. Tank 7 tulip. Bottle conditioned. Poured a hazy gold with a thin white head. Citrus and melon in the aroma. Low carbonation, light bodied. Some grainy malt. A little spice and fruit from yeast. I wish this had been a little more crisp and dry. It was a little flabby for me. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 15, 2011
From bomber, courtesy of santos999. Grapefruit rind, dusty grain, and light hops. Flowery and delicate bouquet. Medium amber hazy with thin foamy lacing off-white head. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. Starts medium-sweet with light grapefruit rind bitterness and apricot sweetness. Carbonic bitter finish and light tang. Clean after. So I pour and Boom goes the fizzy head. I am still an ignoramus who doesn’t get why some beers just explode into a fizzy head issue no matter how low and slow you pour.
Anywho ... the beer looks like a slightly darker macro beer, nothing special. Aroma is pear-y as is the flavor. Some grass notes as well. Maybe some belgian yeast hidden in there as well. jeremytoni (3082) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - JAN 31, 2011
From the tap poured a brownish color with a fair amount of head. Nice light malty flavor with a quick finish.

Thanks to Sam for sharing this some time ago. Hazy gold pour. Phenolic aroma. Flavor is gum, esters and fruit. Light amount of funk. I was slightly disappointed by this one. I would love to try this again topherh (1929) - Kearney, Missouri, USA - JAN 25, 2011

750 from HyVee. Strong fruity presence. Apricot and orange zest. Yeasty aroma. Nice orange body. Living up to the hype. Very tasty saison. clingman71 (297) - Centerville, Ohio, USA - JAN 23, 2011
My first Stillwater beer, not going to be my last. Hazy pale golden pour with an active fizzy, fluffy, huge white head. Effervescent, lively, maybe a little overcarbonated. Yeasty aroma with a presence of hops moreso than most saisons, some spice/pepper, lemon citrus. Begins bready malty, little bit sweet, then the hops and beautiful saison flavors emerge, lemon, grass, straw, herbal, etc, etc. This is one of the better American brewed saisons that I have tried. I can’t wait to try some more of Stillwater’s beers. KornDogg (570) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 19, 2011
Bottle. Peppery Yeast aroma. Golden body with tall fluffy head. Flavor starts off with sweet malts, subtle hops with a peppery / citrus body. Dry finish. Great Saison
