omhper (25750) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 11, 2005
Botled. Golden colour, clear, brief head. Grassy aroma with a whiff of grapefruity hops. Sweet and firmly malty with clean mouthfeel and a fair amount of hops, resulting in an orangey flavour and a pleasantly bitter finish. Nothing spectacular, but a solid, well made lager.

DuffMan (10667) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 24, 2005
Pale golden, clear, medium head. Above average for the Aussie premium lager market, but still pretty boring. Is it worth paying the extra over, say, VB or Castlemaine XXXX Gold? It sepends on how discriminating you are, but I’m not sure that it’s a big enough difference. I’d probably just spend the extra and buy a solid european lager.

motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 2, 2003
predictable. honeyed hop aroma. honey cardboard and alfoil flavour. yellow and limp

duff (5486) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 3, 2002
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2003 Another 'premium' on the aussie market, i was a bit hesitant to try it, and rightly so. A bland, boring, fizzy little concoction. I'd rather drink VB, coz at least its not trying to be something its not. This beer is a joke.

bluevegie (3938) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 22, 2003
This is more of a pilsener than a lager, it hads a grassy hoppy aroma, a harsh bitterness and a metallic finish. Not good.

ALLOVATE (3063) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 18, 2015
Yellow gold, bright, watery and almost still with no head. Not exactly screaming at me right now. Weedy and grassy nose with a hint of salty brine and cardboard. Hmm.... Gassy, carbonic, watery thin and lagered of all life. Really close to soda water. It could be the first beer I’d admit a lemon wedge would actually enhance. Very little here at all. Muggus69 (2728) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - FEB 25, 2014
OLD NOTES JAN 17, 2004 Has a corny malt aroma. A few hop notes, as well as a few light sweet caramel malty kind of flavours came through. Nothing special, but not bad for your average lager. Easy and decent price.

sm89walt (2080) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 28, 2014
Keg - Edison’s, Mona Vale. Poured a clear, lively golden yellow with a small, slowly fading white head. Aromas of grain, corn, grass and lemony hops . Light to medium body, medium to full carbonation, firm mouthfeel and a short, soft intensity bitterness in the finish. Crisp and refreshing with some malt sweetness to balance.

MrRomero (1976) - Nolanville, USA - AUG 31, 2004
Bottle: Pours a light golden yellow with a medium white head. Mildly skunky aroma. A hint of coffee. Mild malt flavor but it has a slight vegetal flavor also. Kind of strange but not bad.

vanvenlo (1913) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - JUN 28, 2004
9 June 2003 - Light malt aroma. Big head with good retention. Flavour is quite clean with a fair bit of hop. Bland, non-fulfilling the promise of its creatively priced (rip off) $4-20, not sure how much it is these days. Lacks originality, malt, hops, need I go on......... so I won’t.
