Sample @ SMÖF 2011. Pours pitch black with a nice creamy tanned head leaving lacing. Aroma is acidy, ashy, roasted, malty and tary. Flavor is as aroma with nice bitterness and touch of sourness. Thin body. Finishes sourish bitter. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 5, 2009
From bottle, thanks to Benny at Stockeboda. Redish brown colour, with low beige head. Slight toast nose from dark malts and un-named spices, maybe pepper or the likes. Bit of diacetyl in flavour along with caramel. Soft buttery, not disturbing though. The bitterness is nicely balanced with the toasty malts. The spices are hard to name but they are there. Solid beer.
