Pours black, with brown foam.

Roasty aroma, nutty and honey aspects, but it’s a bit rank. Dark brown, small brief beige head. Burnt taste, harsh and rough. Medium palate, a bit flat. Drinkability low. Poor stout, a bit of a burnt mess. Alcohol is vaguely hidden behind that mess though.

Draught, last beer on the first day of MBCC. Blue Session. Deer black, tiny beige head, scattered lacing. Plain chocolate malty nose. Blended dark malty flavours of chocolate, liquorice and earth. Sample at MBCC 2017. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, licorice, chocolate and some dried fruit. Similar taste. The body was medium and the finish on the dry side.

3rd Year Anniversary Week, Copenhagen - black pour with a tan head. Dark roasted malty aroma and taste with coffee, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, some burnt malty notes, roasted finish.
