Tap in Sofia - dark nutbrown color, beige head. taste is more like a schwarzbier with a somewhat irritating sweet undertone. roasted malts, coffee, dry finish, its all there but somehow unbalanced. not bockig at all.

19/02/2017 @home - 40cl bottle from a shop in Bulgaria. Clear brown with small head. Nose is maltt, bit caramel. Taste is surprising & pleasantly roasted, some nuts, dry ending.

0.4l bottle as a gift from Roger. Thanks again! A Bulgarian Bock, huh? It has a nice ring to it. On the pour this one has a deep dark Cola brown looking body. From what I can see it’s more or less clear and on the top, a big really good looking almost fluffy lacing beige head. The aroma is more or less what you can expect. A little bit of burnt sugar sweetness. Tones of nuts and some cardboard in the back. Some sweeter licorice here also. Not a horrible aroma really. In the mouth it’s light oily and it’s just below average on the carbonation. Tastes quite good actually. Yeah, more burnt sugar in the taste. It’s also quite yeast nutty this. A little roasted as well, lots of dark malts. Yeah, I somewhat like this actually. At least much more than I initially though. 01.10.2016

50cl bottle pours a muddy, nut brown with some ringing, white head. Nose of soggy bread, mild fruit, yeast, a little garbage. Flavor is soggy bread, some over steeped tea, mild raisin, more garbage, a bit flabby. Watery finish. Nope.

Trockener Nachhall. OK. 10/8/7/8/8/8

500ml bottle. Dark brown in color but clear with reddish hues and a small beige head. Aroma of roast, caramel, molasses, and anise. Sweet malt flavor, caramel, toffee, molasses. Medium bodied, slick, average carbonation. Fine for the style.

Lata de 50 cl consumida no hostel , Sofia.Nada má para um cerveja bulgara mas está a milhas de qualquer dunkler bock alemã! intenso sabor a mlate tostado e caramelo
