Bottle. pale blonde. Apple in the grainy aroma and flavor. Thinnish. Boring pale lager, but at least it is drinkable. solidfunk (9407) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUL 13, 2013
Only mildly bad - decent sessionability, but if only Russia actually made Russian imperial stouts. Decent beach beer, where it was consumed in a warmish tall can from the licbo. Metalchopz (3529) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 11, 2013
Single can from the LCBO. Pours a pale golden colour with a bubbly white head that dissipates quickly, leaving no sticky lace. Aromas of grain, turns into corn, then with some yeast to end up with some grassy hops. Slightly sweet malt taste with hints of apples and cardboard that is mildly wet from urine. Yep, this brew is not really good and will not be buying this again. asheft (3108) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 9, 2013
[can from LCBO]
Aroma is on the sweet side, with some green apples and other faint fruit together with some faint, noble hops. Clear straw under a quickly dropping white foam. Sweet and not quite crisp grain and base malt flavour with a touch of green apple. Medium-light body, moderate carbonation, sweet finish that is clean.

Pours pale yellow clear body with creamy lacing head. Aromas sweet malts, grains, plums, fruity nose and hay. Palate is soft thin with medium lovely carbonation and mouth feel. Aftertaste is sweet and malty with hints dryness and papery tone. Hops flavor is mild, floral and not bitter. All in all pretty decent lager with some nice fruity hops notes. Weak appearance, body and taste. More sour-bitter bite than most, which is actually a nice feature. FatPhil (17077) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 26, 2012

Classic pale lager aroma - light to feeble breadiness. Watery and fizzy palate. Touch metalic in the mouth. Very extracty hoppiness. Dull vaguely bready malts. Quite well attenuated, so I guess it’s not been lagered in too much of a rush. But it’s still bit metallic and chemical. Not actually nasty though. 1.9 seems like an overrate, but I don’t know what to drop.
Better than the other Ochakovo product sampled, the Stolichnoe ["Capital"> Premium is a thin, watery brew with decent head and fizzy bite, notes of straw as well as adjunct and (egads) malt pivnizub (10808) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): Clear, golden, small foamy layer, sweetish grainy-corny nosebwith some strawy traces; very light bodied for a beer of 5.0%, light sweetish flavour; moderate traces of hops in the short sweetish finish. Yawn...
