Golden-amber body has excellent clarity and is topped by a semi-durable head. Minimal lacing.
Decent, lightly sweet flavor and aroma. Seems to need more hops for balance. AAEA (266) - California, USA - MAY 28, 2014
16.9 Fl OZ ($2.69) Pretty easy going beer, has the usual lager characteristics. BTW this is not 4.6% its 5% ABV. very drinkable and has a decent % for lager. Boystout (1000) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - JAN 5, 2005
Nice malty lager, golden colored, full-bodied with big foamy head. Ochakovo is one of the most "European" brewers in Russia. tomer (3710) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - JUN 8, 2011
Bottle, small stable head, clear golden, honey and fruit nose with some flowery notes in the back, strong grapefruit and herbs bitterness with a slightly coarse soapy note, all balanced by a light sweet maltiness, pleasant bittersweet aftertaste. Nice lager. zvikar (6349) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - JUN 21, 2011
Pours pale yellow with an nice head and nice carbonation, aroma of toasted bread and lots of herbs, flavor of malt and herbs with some hoppy tones, more of a premium lager or a pilsener. medium bodied, a decent brew

The appearance is acceptable. It’s more hop-oriented then some other post Soviet brew. Aroma: bread, hay, grass. Light body. Light bitter taste with slight sour notes. stuwilliamson (5) - - MAR 8, 2014 does not count
Slightly malty aroma, sort of like white bread.
Pours a clear golden colour with slight white frothy head. Lots of medium carbonation.
Slightly sweet taste with minimal other flavours.
Thin texture with medium carbonation, and a slighly sour finish.
Overall, light and boring with a bit of off flavours in the finish. Mediocre.

Can 500ml (export version, 4.6 ABV), pours clear yellow with tall long lasting white head. Aroma of lemony hops. Mouth feel is slightly creamy, gentle carbonation (too gentle). Taste is slightly sweet, very weak hoppy bitterness, and some mild hoppy sourness. Flavors of hops, slightly fruity and herbal, also some weak sweet malt. Some surprising spice tones (cloves?). Very light and crisp. Gentle and balanced, easy to drink. Flavors are nice but weak and slightly boring, but not to flat, pretty good for it’s style. waiake (606) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 13, 2014
poured from 500ml can is pale gold with a lingering head, mild malty grainy aroma, taste is crisp, bitter sweet & finshes quite dry & refreshing, its pretty good Quack-Duck (9490) - Down South, GERMANY - OCT 25, 2010
bottle. Clear golden colour. Malty nose. Sweetish malty flavours, slightly hoppy. Hints of cardboard. A simple beer, not bad to accompany Russian food.
